It's just ridiculous. There's no way I can get a credit card, I'm a 20 year old student FFS. I will beg steal and borrow until I've scraped together enough money, but I'm not happy about it.

The more I think about it, the more stupid it looks. Say if you're a couple or father and adult son who already have a season ticket in the Kingsland. You now have a month to find £786 if you want to get the early prices. To some people that might be no problem, but to a vast amount of people that is a huge chunk of their monthly income that they just will not be able to spare all at once.

Yeah it is 17-20, and I agree that up to 25 is young really. I'm 21 in October so this will be my last chance to get the young adult discount. That's if I can find the money to pay it all at once.

Gone up £30 for me but still a pretty good price. Lack of the instalment plan will lose a lot of customers though I'd expect. It's all very well to suggest people could save up but some people have been unable to for various reasons.

£3.30 for a pint of Pride is ridiculous! You can get one for £2.50 on the strand in central London. There are a few traditional pubs left- usually the real ale ones- but so many are chain owned these days. Agree that Wetherspoons can be very good and is certainly good value for money, although they vary quite a bit in each one.

That's handy because I'm about to embark on a pub crawl across the east end of London. I may just about be sober by the tournament.
