If you think Davis is still a good keeper and that the Leicester game is the only reason people think otherwise, you must have missed his other performances over the last few years.

I Think we need to get the ball out wide quickly and stretch the game. Mane on for JWP would help.

I'd have Mane in the number 10 role. Maybe Long on the right with Tadic Left. Wanyama and one of Romeu or Clasie at DM.

I actually disagree with those saying we should add a flair player like Ramirez or Mane to the line up. For me this is a game to press high, work hard and force Villa into mistakes. My midfield/attack would be: ---Wanyama--- Clasie--Davis Mane-----Tadic ------Pelle-----

Seriously? I'd put money on him playing at least 1 game at RB in December. If Koeman was going to play Cedric every game he'd have already begun.

Can you provide some examples where a) past managers have actually done this and b) it has worked? Other than Ron changing our formation and style with Pelle out at Chelsea last year that is.

I'm worried that the players might get confused and join in, this distracting them from the game.

One thing's for sure- we need to play far better in the second half than our last 2 home games. That said, if we're 2-0 up at half time again I'd be happy!

We couldn't afford to sell him at any price really at the moment IMO. Anyone good enough to replace him like for like would not only cost a fortune but would likely have wage demands beyond our current wage structure.

If/when it all goes tits up again, you can guarantee that all of the 'fan-owned' rhetoric will suddenly die away and it'll be the HNW shareholders who front the whole blame.

We'll be in trouble if we play like that in the second half without a 2 goal cushion. I'm not sure if it is just complacency or a change in tactics. Luckily we'd already won the game but could easily have drawn or lost against a better team.

I'd like to see Mane pick the ball up more centrally and running at/in behind their CBs.

No chance it'll be that easy. I think a 1 or 2 nil win with them having a lot of men behind the ball.

I hope we play an attacking team and come out all guns blazing. Their defence won't be able to handle us at our best. We should also be a big threat from set pieces.

Judging by the ease at which Liverpool players caught up with and dispossessed Juanmi on Sunday when we were breaking away, I wouldn't think he'd cause them too much trouble!

Yup! He's not on loan, we bought him for £5million.

I don't think Davis or JWP are really doing much individually, let alone together. I'd put Romeu in for JWP, then one of our attacking players on for Davis.
