Toby is a great player and I'd love us to sign him, but if we don't, it's really not the end of the world. We'll get someone else in and in a few months time this whole saga will be forgotten (by most).

The alternative was to not sign him at all, so I'm pretty happy with the decision they made.

Interesting that the Telegraph article says we've had no contact at all from AM. That, to me, is very different to them not cancelling in time.
