  1. Q. Why were Saints playing Fulham at Loftus Road instead of Craven Cottage. ?
  2. Me too, Can't wait till the closing ceremony. Check the BBC schedules, - 18 hrs, every day, - nothing like a bit of overkill. Roll on Sky.
  3. Made way for some t--t in a red suit, and running a day late --- right colours, mind. (Perhaps Santa IS an under-cover Saints fan after all. and drives the away transport for Lapland Saints. !)
  4. Surprised anybody could make their minds up The TV coverage was a shambles. Took them 20 minutes to put up the 'team sheet', and then only with a rolling bottom of the screen banner. Obviously trainees from 'South Today running the production. camera men failing to to adjust their brilliance controls when the ball switched from the shaded to sunny areas. MOM. Well I think it would have to be either Rickie or Jos.
  5. Der Hollandische as she is spreken.
  6. Help.! Memory fade. WTF is CMS.
  7. What worse than Mike Riley and Andy D'Urso. ?
  8. To save a lot of bother why not pick six teams from a hat and hold the play-offs in July/August. That'll save all the trouble of playing all those league games just to finish third The play-offs are a big con designed specifically to relieve the football fan of even more of his funds by both the FL and television. If a team finish third in their league then they have earned promotion and should not have to surrender it to a team that finishes sixth, on a one-off game of chance, as did Cardiff and Blackpool two seasons ago and indirectly, eventually cost the Cardiff manager his job. Amen.
  9. How can the Italian look at Rickie, he does'nt know that there are any others leagues in England apart from the PL.. also, that there are only six teams in the so-called Premier league, and they are the ones that supply him with the freebies.
  10. It will certainly help to develope the twitch a bit.

Sounds like the start of 'Patton'
  12. BBC six-o-clock News is best especially with George Alligator running a story for the first fifteen minutes then reminding us of their 'Top story, tonight' just in case our attention span is shorter than fourteen minutes. Oh and not forgetting a casual reminder of 'Our Top story' again, at 6:27 before joining our programmes where you are. Hello, I'm Sally Taylor, welcome to South Today and another 30 minutes of irrelevance. from so-called reporters who, if they were any good would have left years ago. And netball, rounders and Skate psychophancy. Dont you just love the Sports News
  13. Huddersfield finished third last season and deserved to be promoted on merit instead of being conned out of promotion by the money-grabbing Football League and their stupid play-off's. Promotion should be earned over the season and not left to chance, like Blackpool, who finished 6th two seasons ago. Why bother with a league programme, draw lots in August and have done with it.
  14. A a matter of interest, 'What time to they keep in the Irish Republic', If you believe that the hand of Europe is not upon this, you'll believe anything. So screw Rebecca, who seemingly has nothing better to concentrate her mind, and leave the system alone. As a former Merchant seaman, changes in clocks were an everyday way of life so gaining or losing an hour every six months does'nt bother me, and it certainly won't improve any bodies driving skills, (I use the term 'skills' loosely), whether it be dark, or daylight, and this is the excuse that is usually the one most often used. And so endeth the morning Lesson. Amen.
  15. Why not,?. He done a good enough job ON USin yhe past
  16. Totally agree. He did his fair share of defending when it mattered, and who was it that laid off the ball for Stevie De Ridder to score his cracking goal. ?
  17. Anybody know what the questions are like for the Emigration Test Always nice to know there's a way out.
  18. The Milton Road terracing could have been 'squared'off at the East Stand corner, by extending over the road as Milton Road was closed to through traffic any way. Douby that much could have been done at the Archers Road end. The overflow would probably have been in the 'Winston'.
  19. Why condemn the man without giving him a trial. How many posters passed similar comments about David Connolly, and others. Q:- Does anybody else note a facial similarity between Beattie and Hammond , or is my vision becoming impaired.
  20. Bolton & Everton leve. they are both on the bones of their **** are'nt they. don't wan't to go back to those days again.l
  21. Have'nt noticed Dexter Blackstock's name in Forest's latest team sheets. Is he still with them, injured, or what. ? If he's out of favour, then perhaps HCDAJFU, as he seems to have scored fairly regularly for 'the Forest'. McLaren seems to be doing a reprise of his England career at the City Ground. so probably would'nt let Blackstock go out on loan, especially to Saints.
