  1. There's no 'bit' about it. He is 'doolally' for ever taking the job in the first place, especially after the excellent job he, and Howard Wilkinson, did in achieving relegation at Sunderland a couple of seasons back, eventually progressing to assist the demise of Burnley. Oh dear !
  2. Hope the ref' shows up this time, (in both forms of the word). He went AWOL for the Blackpool (?) game... and also hope the linesman does'nt live up tp his name.
  3. Talking about cricket. When Sky get the Gray/Keys furore sorted out, perhaps they might like to make a start on the gang of d,,,heads that constitute the commentary team. The constant waffle from messrs Hussain and Lloyd, etc, is completely biased. Not once do we ever hear any criticism on the performance, or lack thereof, of some of the tossers who are representing England. J. Arlott, Esq, and 'Johnners', etc, would be turning in in their graves
  4. ah, ah, now, that verging on anti-feminist talk. You'll have to come into the office and I'll give you a stiff talking to. Besides, the delightfull Sian added a bit of glamour to Anfield. I'd sooner look at her than the arch-thugs Carragher and/or Gerrard ..... and she seemed more proficient than some of the incompetent male linesmen we've seen at SMS this season.
  5. Hear,Hear, ! Quite agree. He's always talking a load of 'Bow licks' anyway, only worse than his side-kick, 'Gabby' Gray.
  6. Alcoholic and depressed,eh. Surely thats the only way to watch the flatfishes
  7. Dare I suggest al-Faraj.
  8. What an a...hole you are, Perrin.
  9. Has anybody else noticed a similarity with Wallace from 'Wallace and Grommitt' - except the dog has more sense.
  10. Sky Television, with 'Footie for Kid's provided by CITV.
  11. Confirmed in the Telegraph this day. Martin Brundle as prime commentator with David Coulthard as his summariser. Presumably Jake and Eddie trying to appear useful. Thank god they've got rid of Legard, what a BA commentator. I use that term loosely.
  12. Today's, (10th), Telegraph Sport section also suggested that St Nigel had made the Blessed Guly's conversion to a true Saint, permanent, though there's nothing on the OS yet. Amen.
  13. Anyone know why the referee was changed. According to the programme, and a couple of daily newspapers, the ref' was to have been Martin Atkinson, (he of 20 games, 8 red, and 75 yellow, cards). However, according to the match report on the OS, the ref' was a Mr D. McDermidd. Obviously another well known nonentity.
  14. Listen again. He did say thet Aaron Martin was making his first team debut 'FOR ME'
  15. ...and the oaf also managed to give away a penalty. Serves 'Cotterpin' right for appealling.
  16. You must be stone deaf, easily pleased, or both, if you have'nt heard that screaming 'moron with the mike' who purports to provide pre.match and half-time 'entertainment'. Put the 'mockers' on what otherwise was a good start to 2011.
  17. Sky Sports, - the best advertising channel on TV, with a little sprinkling of sport. Who else would advertise a football match, or three, in the middle of a cricket Test Match. 'Dozy pillocks' comes to mind. If you're not p***ed off with the ad's, then sit back and enjoy the never ending replays. The company motto is 'If there is nothing controversial happening, then make something up' so the **** Keys can bore even more viewers by asking stupid questions that the 'Thicko' experts can't answer
  18. Southampton's answer to TCWTB. TCWTM,(M = 'Microphone). Well done Santa Cluas, hopefully
  19. Apologies. The second-last sentence should read '....... falls on a Saturday next year....
  20. Boxing Day is always the day after Christmas Day. Both days are, by law, Bank Holidays, however this year, with both Bank Holidays falling on a weekend. when banks would normally be shut anyway, (only in recent years have banks been allowed to open on Saturdays). Therefore, so that all the over-worked bank employees do not, (allegedly), miss out on their Xmas holidays, the following two working days are set aside in lieu thereof, as per 2010. To prepare all the 'thickies' amongs us for next year, (2011), when Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, and thus Boxing Day will be on a Monday, both the following Wednesday and Thursday will be deemed Bank Holidays in lieu, so start saving for an expensive fortnight. Whatever, though, the day after Xmas Day, i.e. 26th December will still be Boxing Day A similar arrangement applies to New Years Day, which some of you will have spotted, falls on a Saturday this year and so the following Monday will be deemed a Bank Holiday. Amen to all that, Merry Xmas everybody.
  21. Tut,tut, the xmas spirit. Besides, it took you long enough to work Mr D'Urso's status out. 99% of football fans all ready knew that, hence the reason he's deemed to be unfit to referee in the Premier League, -- and barely competent enough for the Football League Why not add the word 'super' before your final two words. Merry Xmas all. See you on Tuesday, hopefully !
  22. Especially with a happy smiling wife to sit besides you. Miserable ***
  23. Bet it was for Kelvin's gloves.
  24. So they might, but they certainly would'nt be able to hold it in Dublin without the ridiculous salaries they're on, or is that something else 'Father Xmas' Chanarai is forking out for.
