All the best for 2015 Nutjobs - with training ground work to be completed, fans still thinking they own shares, a stony silence over Tesco, percentages owned by property developers gently increasing and accounts still outstanding in the new era of transparency, the saga rolls on....

My bizarre life took me to a restaurant the other night and who was there but Mr Catlin and one of his friends, a senior partner at pompey's legal firm. I think they should consolidate all of their criminal past and ask for other fences to be taking into consideration.

a pompey fan I know asked me last night who the feck was laughing now - I had a look at the current league structure and would suggest that it's still pretty much us, and at a significant volume. I'm starting to wonder whether the figures stack up... Then again it's difficult to know when the accounts are a secret! Another thing I may have mentioned before - I see very little commercial talent on that board... For those asking about the Hall of Fame, I have witnessed it, with my own eyes.... It's basically a wall of Poundland frames with pictures of old players in them, randomly hung slightly skew whiff for added drama - and each legend is accompanied by a shiny plaque fashioned from the finest perspex. This gallery that oozes quality is in the same shrine that holds the great un-ironed tablecloth, while the aroma of fat hangs heavy in the air.

This week. Former Pompey midfielder Alan McLoughlin thanked the Fratton faithful after his Q&A evening was a roaring success. Around 300 fans turned up at the Victory Bar on Monday night for the event, which also doubled up as an opportunity to buy his new autobiography. I bet his next book will have some interesting stuff on the Trust!

And in planning news..........plans by developers to build 480 houses on land not far from the fortress of fat are being opposed due to the 'lack of infrastructure' in that part of the city. Which could mean that IF Tesco's plan A gets put on hold they will then struggle to get planning for further residential in that area....thus leaving Robinson with exactly what he bought, a large piece of semi-worthless wasteland. Chanrai must be chuckling at the fortune that he walked away from - you know you are in real trouble when the money launderers and arms dealers can no longer see a profit in your business.

I didn't find it that depressing - they are an excellent side. We could have surrendered at 1-0 but we chased the game and got punished. Had Pelle connected in the 85th minute it could have been different - we pushed to get back from 2-0 and got hit again.
