Cheers bear, nice to know someone believes in me

I really enjoyed it, takes a couple of episodes to get into but its up there with Walking dead and Thrones for me What was everyones thoughts on Breaking Bad out of interest ? Personally I thought it was decent but I didnt see it as the untouchable series that it was made out to be. Both Walking Dead and Game of Thrones are better IMO

I like the idea of pushing toby up to play alongside Morgan, and keeping a defence of Yoshi and Fonte to be honest. I just hope Yoshi can cope with Stokes physicality and the no doubt aimed passing to Crouchies head. ------------Davis----------- Clyne Fonte Yoshi Bertrand -Schneiderlin -Alderweireld- Long -------JWP------Mane -------------Pellè-----------

Drove a Porsche 911, Lambo Gallardo, Audi R8 and an Aston Vanquish. Great day, really enjoyed it. No real advice to give really except that as much as they are just making more money out of you take up the excess waiver as its around 2k excess as standard. Drive you're least favourite first as you'll get used to the track as you go. The RWD are difficult if you arent used to them, I thought I was going to kill myself in the porsche as the turbo kicked in as I hit the corner but the Lambo was a beast. It was going into it my least favourite but what a car, its like its glued to the track.

You still dont have a relevant response then ?! Oh well As per Michu he has been at Napoli and done reletively sod all. Last year he was perhaps what we wanted but Im not sure now. I think we could do better. Shelvey ? Yeah Id take shelvey, liked him since he destroyed us as a 16/17 yr old for charlton

Have a day off

Good start to the series, I dont think Ill watch the leaked episodes, think Ill wait and watch them week to week, that way, since Walking Deads finished, I get something to look forward too. That said I do much prefer the Netflix model, as bearsy says, I get to sit and watch Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy etc to my hearts content. As for GoT, its good, its super good, but having read the books there is certainly something missing. I dont look forward to it as much as I do Walking Dead, because I know what happens I think. Its going to be interesting to see what happens at the end of this series however considering this is effectively the current most recent book in effect and Winds of Winter is apparantly not due till next year.

Whens the home leg

So thats it then ? You have no actual arguement to make ? Ill be glad when easters over...
-
Where is this being played ?
-
Theres a difference between this little arguement and believing that we wouldnt go about reconstructing the squad again ? Im sorry but if you seriously believe this years transfer model would in any way be consistantly successful then you are a fool. We will not willingly sell 5-6 first team players again, we got away with it this year. But if we try it again it wont be anywhere near so successful. So no, its not really anythig like it is it ?
-
You know what people meant, you are just looking for an arguement and being a pedantic prat
-
Its not the way we play, we play with effectively 2 transitional midfielders, one of which sits in when the team is on the attacking transition to allow for the fullbacks to push on. We then play with a flexible bank of three that narrow and support a front man that comes deep to support play and arrive late. A 'clinical' finisher such as Hernandez will just upset the way we play. For now atleast I dont think we can accomodate him. And besides I think we will be going backwards. There is a reason none of the top 6 play with a striker like that.
-
We arent built for a clinical finisher, and besides, to utilise one you need to create chances. Against the teams that sit back we just dont create enough chances so having an overpaid Hernandez hanging around isnt going to change much that end. I hope we could do better than Austin too, but as I said, at the right price we'll get a good player IMO
-
Tbh of all of the rumours (ings, hernandez etc) I think Austin is the one that would suit us more. Id certainly be happy if he came here. Id rather have someone that could lead the line better but I think for the right price he'd be a good buy
-
So Im right then, you have no actual arguement to what I said ? Ill let you get back to your easter eggs and homework sunshine
-
You realise that wasnt a very smart response ?
-
Because suggesting we are going to have a huge summer overhaul again is realistically a smart post ? We got away with it this year, but it doesnt happen very often. Besides, you are suggesting selling JWP and Davis on top of losing Morgan. It wont happen.
-
Why not ? He was angling a move away from Villa last year, and since they've been pretty terrible. He is realistically the only european class player they have and would be an upgrade on what we have.
-
You realise this isnt the football manager thread ?
-
For the City arguement, of course we can cause them trouble, all three of the teams below them can. Realistically though I think Spurs have shot their bolt. They just dont seem to be dangerous whenever Ive watched them recently and are currently pretty poor at the back (that said watch them roll us over) Liverpool are the most likely, thats just obvious. They have more quality to their squad then we do in reality, they need the win tonight to get them back on to winning ways however. City themselves are in a bit of a mess right now. Ive kept saying to myself that they'll regroup at some point but it just hasnt happened. Its as though they've given up, and thats dangerous at this stage in the league. I can genuinely see them falling out of the top four to be replaced by us or liverpool tbh
-
It really wasnt bizarre was it ? I never thought we would be relegated but I had this season down as being a real struggle. Add to this the amount of pundits and general footballing commenatators in various facets of the media that had us as potential relegation fodder shows that the situation was very much against us. If I was asked the potential future of any other team in our position in the summer Id still say they would struggle. New board, new manager and massive change of footballing personel late into pre-season ? Its an incredible... INCREDIBLE effort to get us to where we are. To say it is bizarre to say we could get relegated at the time is short sighted over optimistic ********.

Nearly as good as my volley against watford
-
His movement in and around the box is pretty poor for a top level striker tbh and for all of his ariel prowess he generally gives the ball away far too easily. Add to this his almost complete lack of composure. He isnt as bad as some make out, but if we have real top 6 ambitions we need a better option
-
I saw him last year and he wasnt good enough, id more than welcome him to prove me wrong but on last years showing I cant see him being good enough
