  1. This Plus its generally for companies and hospitality I believe
  2. Im sorry what ??!?!?! Is this what happens at the radisson ?
  3. Lol Not abusive, unless continually asking the staff to refill the budweisers and thus potential for blisters is abuse ? Its a decent day actually, foods good, drinks appreciated, generally well looked after. Only qualm is the issue with the players really. Perhaps now that NC has gone the club could look at potentially getting ex players in to be speakers to extend the experience ?
  4. They are always there, but often they are late They do use the same player in all the corp suites though I think which cant help ? That said after a skinfull Im not that worried lol
  5. Atleast you can laugh at yourself I suppose
  6. They do turn up but usually about 5-10 mins before you are asked to leave
  7. Thats exactly what is was under nasty nic as I have been in it a few times during his tenure
  8. I honestly couldnt choose right now Clynes slightely better going forward but not as good crossing, and Chambers is better at crossing and physically bigger and stronger. There isnt much between both defensively I dont think It really is an excellent position to be in. Chambers could end up as a CB IMO
  9. I quite like Maya, he isnt physically dominant but reads the game very well and is generally good on the ball. He is a pretty solid replacement for me. I liked him last year, he showed ability. Unfortunately he partnered Jos and next to fox a lot who were terrible. Constantly out of position which meant the others in the defence, maya included get dragged around.
  10. you know you're not getting away with that one DPS
  11. Most people slagging off the EA stems from the government sowing the seed in the media to essentially make them a scapegoat. Politically in situations such as this they find someone to blame who isnt themselves and essentially publically blane them in order to divert attention and make people think that from a government level they are doing something. First it was the electric companies and now the EA I work for Southern Electric, missed my entire christmas (and most of Jan/Feb) and can hand on heart say Im not entirely sure what more over this period we could have done, the weather has just been unrelenting. But, government being the government point fingers in order to appease the masses but in reality it achieves absolutely nothing.
  12. You started it....
  13. TBF Steve is a footballing mastermind, if you dont agree with him then you have obviousky never played the game (Dont think he realised Fifa doesnt count)
  14. Equally you missed the point about him being enough of a threat to set up the two goals that led to a point ?
  15. Not sure why Tim gets such a hard time TBH
  16. Clynes case has been made stronger due to the injury to Johnson, but it depends how Woy wants to play, if he wants attacking full backs then itll be Clyne and Walker on the plane. If he is looking for two differing options then Ill expect it to be Walker and Jones/Smalling (who also can play CB) Jay Rod is very much making a case for himself as far as the WC is concerned, but its going to be dependant on how he plays in the upcoming friendly and on Welbecks form (dont think there is much between Welbeck and Jay right now but Welbecks never let down in an England shirt) RL has the best chance, but Ive explained my thoughts on him vs carroll above. AL is a dead cert
  17. Id like to start this post by saying I never watched the game, I only know the score as was at work But Id imagine that a fit Wanyama would have been a better option vs stoke. Two different players, both very good.
  18. This is pretty much it If he upped his workrate to the levels of AL or Davis and we may start to see a real position for him, equally if VW sorts himself out and releases MS a bit more it could mean that GR's inclusion is all the more Viable but yes I agree his issue isnt his ability but the fact that we cannot accomodate him right now IMO
  19. They are both vastly different types of player TBF, Lambert is a superior passer, better vision and holds the ball up much much better. Carroll is better in the air, quicker and a real battering ram (basically a new Heskey). So really it depends on which man that Woy finds a better option from off the bench. Does he want to have the ball stick and pull the midfield forward for support ? (RL) Or does he want a man to cause havoc, resort to kick and run football and attenpt to rush at an oppositions back four ? (AC) Personally I dont think AC is anywhere near as bad as gets made out, agreed his price tag was F'n rediculous, King Kenny really did get purse raped by a few teams under his watch. Itll depend on form ultimately. But Carroll hasnt cone back with the ability that he probably should have since his 'injury'
  20. It trumps a lot of my mates friday night spoils of war TBH
  21. Ossie was a better player but a headcase Rhodes wouldnt fit the system Both would be poor
  22. That still doesnt make him a good signing
  23. I wonder if those that spout this crap are trolls or just very thick Or both
  24. Yup, with Rhodes up top...
