Lukas Jutkiewicz.... is he worth signing?
Smirking_Saint replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
Does it really matter if he is a Saints fan ?? Really ? FWIW I don't think he is an better than we have already, Lambert is more effective in the air and is now playing such a vital role in that slightly deeper position that Lucas is just not intelligent enough to play in. Guly is good in the air, normally decent on the deck, has a fair amount of pace and unpredictability. Barnard last year was clinical, and a workhorse but you have to wonder how much all of the crap flying around is going to affect him. Connolly is clinical and intelligent. What we really need is something completely different, and that is a player with real pace upfront (but also ability - Sorry forte) which will enable us to change our game plan if required in much the same way as chucking SDR against tired legs often opens up defences. Another pop at Maynard would be my tip. Also, why would Lucas come here to sit on the bench ? You are much more likely to see him move to a team whos front line he would actually improve. -
I'd sign me Remember the Volley !!!!!

At the least you'd have to wait 'til it's soaked in

You would be stiring some serious porridge.

If Man Utd lost Rooney and Nani they would be half the team A La Man City and Silva/Hart Arsenal and RVP They are our stars, you couldn't replace them, though we did a decent enough job without Lallana. Besides that, I would sign Jos and perhaps another CB, not often I agree with Hypo but we are thin on the ground there, unless Jack Stephens is ready to take a step up if required, a decent young understudy would be ok, unless an older player happy to play backup. A striker aswell, Connolly will not last alot longer (though I hold my hands up I have said that every TW for 2 years lol) and Barnard is a bit of a wildcard ATM though I think he has the quality. As always though, if a quality player becomes available snap him up. Wildcard signing - I reckon we may see a young GK this year.

He plays back further up the pitch and central which allows him to influence the game more, it also gives us a more mobile, flexible and murcurial front line that can interchange within itself (Lallana, Guly and Lambert). He has a decent work ethic too. I am one of the Guly fans, and said before this season that he will shine as I feel against better players he will look better the same as Morgan. I like him and feel he will become even better

The most embarrassing saints chants you have ever heard?
Smirking_Saint replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
I would rather 10-15 minutes of that then the constant f*cking pompey crap we usually sing -
Well pleased for the win, even ugly wins are fantastic. Its all about keeping up the home form, that in itself will play a big part against teams before they even set foot upon St Marys turf. End of the day, we can't keep playing this sensationally all season, Utd, City, Barca, Real etc etc will all get their fair share of scrappy wins, but thats what makes champions, being tested and coming out the other side.

The difference between Southampton and Brighton...
Smirking_Saint replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Thats just at a personal level though, Brighton don't have anything to prove really, they are at the level that they belong at, perhaps they need to prove that they are solid players at this level, and in all honesty, if teams such as Stoke, Wigan, Swansea etc can get into the PL then so COULD Brighton, but nobody expects it, thats the difference. -
How did the porn finish ?? Tits or face ??

I am glad I have never played in a football team you have managed. We won, 17 consecutive home wins, perhaps one day you will comment on something positive.

Come on you SAINTS Hoovield from the corner, BANG 3-1, nothing to worry about
-
Has someone shot your avatar in the face ?

So not when we went 2-0 up ?? Not when we were dominating ?? Not when they went down to 10 men ?? No Obviously when there was a negative to comment on

Wasn't that the thing chasing Frodo in lord of the rings ?

This is f*cking hectic, gunshots here, explosions there, cars going up and walls falling down, dynamically so so so much better than COD, though I still like CODS rush and shoot gameplay this is so much more tactical and involving. Quality.

1.42 for me, which I am bloody chuffed with considering that I am really not a distance runner, and before my (2) cruciate operations was always a pace runner who quite verbally hated any distances over about 400m. Loved it today though, and a little gutted that I couldn't achieve a better time. A combination between starting in green wave and so having no room to pull away, it really was frustrating having to try and find gaps every 10m or so, and giving in to the pain stopped me. I litterally sprinted the last 800m, had plenty in the tank but my knees and right foot were agony, perhaps I should have just ignored them for another 2 miles !! Loved it though, and seriously considering running next year aswell to beat my time, couldn't find Adi so couldn't get my Saints shirt but had a Saints foundation one. Nobody warned me just how much pain I would be in today though, stairs are not my friend.

Well, thats 3 points to leicster then

Currently playing as Crawley, its tough but they are headed in the right direction. Hoping to reach the playoffs at least by the end of the season, have been flirting with them up to crimbo, is auto out of the question ?? I don't know as it is very tight up there with no one in any particular form. Signed A Martin on loan, he is quality at this level and managed to spunk all of my hard earned cash on Harewood for 100k and 3.5k a week, he is brilliant at this level.
