Ok then Stu, Email Luker with the information you have found and ask why they have not looked into Zebra finance then ?? See what he says ?? Why not, you have nothing to lose, just post the response here so we all know once and for all. -
Playing in European finals ?? The best players ? A great stadium ?? Premiership contenders ?? FA Cup/League cup finals ?? Noone wants that do they

But to be completely fair to both sides, you have only researched one club credit facility in Zebra finance, you don't know for sure the club is telling porkies ! -

Not really, the club has no committment to give affordable payment schemes to fans for a premium product. There is a reason why there are risk management positions at major banks etc, that is because some people cannot afford the repayments when previous financial history and affordability is calculated. So why is the club committed to providing what is essentially a credit facility to people that would not qualify for one on the world market ? :smt102 -

Stu, well done mate for going away and doing the research, fair play to you, most just open their mouths without doing any form of research whatsoever. The problem i see on here is that many believe it is their god given right to recieve a payment option for a product that they cannot actually afford. This is not the case at all. It is the clubs seat and the clubs ticket to sell, they have released competetive rates for this service and are obviously trying to make the club self-sustainable in relation to our ambitions, this i applaud. I appreciate that the club made a mistake in not pre-warning many fans on the fact that the scheme was being scrapped however that is the issue and nothing more. As fans we have no devine right for the ST's to be made affordable to all, no premium product in the world is like that really. If there is a product that is over the monthly disposeable then means need to be sourced in order to afford that, either through saving, or loans or CC's. That decision is to be made by the consumer, not the company providing the product. If it cannot be afforded then so be it. As for the majority of the fanbase not being able to afford it OR be able to get a decent financial option to help with payments that just doesn't have any basis in reality. I would say there was a very small amount of fans that cannot do either, and if that is the case then, unfortunately they need to accept that they cannot afford the product and learn for next year. The problem being that as fans we know that the ST's need to be purchased around this time every year, and so why were they not saving for it ?? The answer is that there was a wrong assumption that a payment scheme would be provided, now i agree that the club is in the wrong by not putting a warning out but it cannot be held responsible for what is inadequate financial planning. Conclusion - Get over it, learn for next year and don't assume things, if a ST cannot be afforded this year go game for game and save some per month for next year. Don't be taken in by the conspiracy theorists, it just is not true. -
The club does not have to offer a payment scheme, it does not have to run a payment scheme. The club offers a service that you either can or can't afford or pay for. It is YOUR choice whether or not to pay for this service and whether or not the service can be justified. It is not YOUR seat, it is not YOUR ticket, it is the clubs. You have the option of leasing this seat off of them for a season if you can afford it. There is a lot in life i would like to buy, however do i p*ss and moan if the company does not make it affordable to me ?? No, i decide i cannot justify it or find a way to pay for it myself, such as a loan or CC or saving. I agree Darren W your post is well thought out and written but a lot of fans are currently acting like spoilt brats at the moment, we have a chance to play attractive football, spend money on new exciting players and move back towards the Prem, yet many are p*ssed off about an extra few quid. I agree the club seriously should have warned if the payment plan was being scrapped but it in no way HAS to provide that service. It is not your ticket/seat until it is paid for.

Honestly though, what is the point of taking this thread on and on through the pages ?? It is obvious that this action has caused a large portion of the fanbase (well at least the forum posting one) some aggro. Why don't we all write to Luker/NC, not ****ing and moaning but explaining that it could have a negative effect and has caused friction and see what transpires ?? -
They will be the surprise package IMO. A few years ago i would say they would be my dark horses to make the quarters but now they are my dark horses to make the Semi's

lol

Lol No, was proving a point, and if i was on the wind up im not exactly in the same league though are we StanMole ? Thought you were coming to save the forum anyways ? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=21192

It wasn't really that genuine, i was proving a point.

Make sure you have a job to go to before you leave. NEVER EVER slag off the company or management, you need a reference, plus you may want/have to go back there for whatever reason so never burn your bridges. Write a polite letter stating your intention and date of leaving and keep it civil. Write a sentance about your manager if you must saying how good he is etc and perhaps have a small meeting with him alone and explain its not him but still don't slag off the company. You never know, they may offer you more money.

Clearly everyone is more interested in p*ssing and moaning then doing something constructive

Perhaps there are reasons why they have not been approached ?? Like the ones that TDD has found ?? Also how do you know that they have agreements with the teams on the front page ?? My old company used to have many big big companies on its website as 'customers' when in reality it had only ever did very very small pieces of business with them and in the vast majority of cases was one offs. -
No it is not, it is completely genuine Dune/Stanley. I however refuse to pander to some WUM that spouts b*llocks like 'where shall we boycott' I also remember your 'drunken childish stage'. As for the massive tax bla bla bla it is £3 if you can't be arsed to get to the ground and pay in person. And as i said earlier, i highly suspect this was going on more stealthily before, yet now NC has made it more transparent people have the hump.

I'd rather not sign him and have a ST payment plan in place. Infact i would like to sell Lambert etc to make this happen.

Yes, as far as they are concerned you probably have a point. -
It is clear that NC and the clubs somewhat poor decision no matter what side of the conspiracy fence you are on, has ruffled a few feathers. So, instead of the crazyness associated with the constant moaning, rediculous noises about boycotting the club etc, how about a petition from as many saints fans as we can find that we can send to NC and Mr Luker ?? No need to get angry, no need to bash the keyboards etc, but just a calmly worded letter that spells out the greviences and difficulties posed by those that cannot get a 0% credit card ? Or if there are genuine reasons why the admin costs are too high or a finance scheme is impossible a genuine response from up high ?? This IMO would result in three outcomes, 1. The problem becomes re-addressed and a payment scheme is offered after the club acknowledge the mistake. 2. The reasons behind the lack of plan are revealed and so the conspiracies and anger subside when we know the genuine reasons. 3. Nobody from the club responds and we realise that as a customer base we will remain in the dark ?? Got to be better than moaning to a bunch of computer screens and achieving nothing :smt102
