Interesting to read the "Oh when the saints" blog with a QPR fans view on Charlie Austin. His thoughts were that both Pelle and Austin could easily compliment each other playing together. Good to get a different view but i dont think Koeman would go down this route. Austin for me, but very interested to see Pelle's contribution when he gets his chance.

In my opinion we need competition for Pelle, Long does a good job up top, JRod could do the job as well (but worked better with a Lambert type player), but i just sense Pelle thinks his position is secure when he doesn't do enough for me. On a positive note the you tube vids I've seen of Clasie may just wake him up a bit.

I'm hoping RK has told him to sign another 3 year deal, stick with it for 2 years as that's what RK's contract expires, then he can move on for a sizeable fee. He can enjoy the Southampton journey with the current manager in charge (which i think has a lot to do with it) But what do i know !, even if he does go right backs are replaceable.
