Koeman starts tomorrow. Not a moment too soon.

Seriously This cannot be true. The guy has done an ACL. There is no certainty that Jrod would ever come back the same player he was. Any manager who tries to purchase a player who is 6 months plus away from even thinking about playing is insane and should be sacked straight away. -
will we see Suarez in our first match? (Answer: No.)
hans gruber replied to offix's topic in The Saints
haha thats quality. i really hope Suarez's legal team use some of these. -
Looks a fair tackle to me

Rafa? Would be a good choice if they started making us play on clay but I think I would prefer Koeman

I get killed. So I will come back as john maclane

I agree fantastic player. I am chuffed for him -
Duck I understand you are angry because he hasn't delivered. I agree. But he has class, his first season actually wasn't bad either really, second season for whatever reason/excuse he didn't deliver. Class isn't his problem. Hopefully under new management his application/fitness/ desire , whatever will improve. If not I vote we smash his kneecaps.

Sorry but you are wrong. Do you think lallana or lambert could get a game for Uruguay? No me neither
-
The reports I read , said he was pretty good last night for Uruguay. Just like lallana was like a new recruit this season for saints, IMO gaston has a chance to shine. The guy is class, but unfortunately so far he has been 30 percent super and 70 percent crap. With a change of manager if they gel it could work out really well.

unfortunately being in another country i cannot be there to boo him.... but i will boo my tv if i ever happen to be watching spurs. he can kiss my backside.

Who is Murat Yakin? I kept picturing some washed up Russian tennis player but then realised that was Marat Safin. Didnt see Safins odds in the potential replacements list

hans gruber replied to doggface's topic in The Saints
i saw a real cracker when i was on hols in the US last year... saw this obviously american kid wearing a fake manchester united top and on the back it said "manchester soccer" like in california they still don't know that manchester city exists -
ha thats classic.... imagine the training ground with him and osvaldo in it, be like a "return of the crazy gang" of sorts
-
How much they pay for Zaha? he's been good for them too:rolleyes:

Get that half of your brain removed and become an Aussie

Coke ones funny things to ones head -
I wonder if arsenal have the same type of posters as we do? surely after the money spent on theo and aoc and what they have delivered surely their supporters would want them moved on? better not give em a chance or anything and seriously if anyone compared gastons stats to say coutinho you wouldn't find much difference... wonder if the Liverpool fans want to get rid of coutinho? hasn't scored many goals for the amount they paid

Match Thread - Saints v Burnley - FA Cup 3rd Round
hans gruber replied to dubai_phil's topic in The Saints
Well I'm sitting here at home about to go to bed watching the only game we have on tv, Rochdale v Leeds and what a cracker game. Rochdale have pumped them! But thanks guys lol what an entertaining match thread sounds like a cracker of a match actually -
Tis true. But I like how he goes for it. I mean he can pass sideways to a free player and hav a 90 percent pass conversion rate. But that is what big vic is for.... Let the boy have a crack already, he looks seriously dangerous when he gets the ball
-
I agree pretty much with this.......yet somehow if you look back overall we didn't do too badly and it could be argued we maybe even were slightly the better team.... I want gaston and osvaldo to play more so much.......
-
Gazza would have saved it Serious though great goal but terrible defending by jwp
-
defended well today
-
****** weak effort by swann imo. i think more like it, he didnt want to become the new "record" holder of most runs taken off a bowler in a calender year. montys a better bowler anyway.
-
tend to agree... to be fair he has got a decent left peg and i think would be more suited to a leftish midfield role, but he always seems to get sucked in to the middle. to play left back you really need to understand the concept of defending. its integral to the role.
