If he happens to be the only sighning we make this January it will be a great month

I am very excited by this takeover and what it could bring in the coming years. On the assumption this really is a long term (ongoing) project of Sport Republic, I can see the club status raised considerably over the next few years. One of the main bits I took from Semmens words on Solent was the bit about being able to do things quicker than previously planned. I hope this means 2 or even 3 players this months, a GK and a number 10 are suggested in the press as Ralph's priority which can't be argued with, but I'd love a DCM as well. I fell this is going to be a really positive time for the team and the club, I have a similar feeling to when Markus and Cortese turned up. As ever only time will tell but after a few years of stagnation and restriction this is very much a breath of fresh air!!😁

If we do (and why wouldnt we!!) want to sign Broja on a permanent it makes complete sense to at least attempt to do it this month because the longer we leave the more interest there is likely to be and more cash and spending clubs there is going to be in the summer.
-
I tend to agree to be fair but Semmens saying we can do things "quicker" makes me wonder we might get the GK now. I agree about the Tadic role to but think we need to shift a couple in that type of role first.
-
Broja permanent, a decent GK (Henderson my preference, although probably unlikely) and a DCM would do me🤣
-
I think 5k is way over the top.
-
But didn't someone post that the Kapital Group company was dissolved? Poor admin on that site if true....doesn't bode well if can't get the basics right🤣🤣🤣
-
And that's why he needs to go. 🤦🤦🤦🤦
-
You miss my point. Its not "just about two games" it's about these two games on the end if all the rest. Hes had chance after chance and as much as I like him we are just not getting anywhere. Win these two and you'd probably stick with him for a couple more but for me he's st the end of the road....how close it is I'm not so sure
-
If we take less than 3 points from this weeks two games he needs to go. In principal I like his philosophy and way of working but it is not having the effect it needs to. I feel he is almost stuck and can't find a way out, we either perform or don't, without any rhyme nor reason. We need a fresh mind, fresh energy and fresh approach. Sooner rather than later.

Tim Flowers lived in the same road as my (late) dad in Otterbourne. I never met him though!!
-
Can't be us as the team concerned is "doing very well". I'm guessing Palace or West Ham in reality, but who knows!!
-
And herein lies the one main issue we have in our world right now, mis-information that can be stated as fact with little or zero comeback or need to prove provenance and credibility. And what's more it can spread the world in literally seconds. Great for real news and facts but awful for the opposite. I suspect the truth of the matter for most "sports journalists" is thst they get hints from a variety of people and then word it in such a way that people who take everything at face value will pass it on as so called fact. That MLG appears to get wound up by these people is funny as he obviously chooses to read what they have to say, possibly to feed his thirst for rumour rather than fact🤣 Irony at it best, perhaps.
-
It unless he can prove its is made up he is only doing what he is accusing the journalist of, making it up. In the post I quoted MLG wrote as a statement of fact rather than accusatory manner which would not be libelist.
-
Your comment is potentially libelist. Can you prove he "makes up every story".
-
Entirely possible. I won't bank on it though
-
Early days yet....plenty of time to revert to type. Need a GK big time...
-
Time to go. I think he might resign. As long as he keeps selecting the blunt and inept Redmond it shows a complete lack of judgement. We need fresh energy, viewpoints, ideas and enthusiasm.
-
It's called guessing. Using all the "information" at hand to make a prediction and then write it in such a way as to make it "seem" like they know. It's what 90% of sports journalism and media do. It's all about clicks and advertising and subscription revenue.
-
I agree but the reality is this will happen more often over the coming seasons until we have a wealthy owner willing to spend. So probably for ever.
-
Despite the widespread (on here at least) lack of awareness and knowledge of this player, I have a sneaky feeling he will turn out to be a really decent player for us. I really enjoyed his attitude about signing. It seems like it is someone who has some talent at from an early age this was seen but his choice have clubs have not worked out for him for whatever reason. This can easily happen. Ralph's signings have all been good and I trust him on this one so let's see in 3 or 4 mo ths where we are. For the fee it could be an absolute bargain. And if it doesn't work out its not a lot of money!!
-
At his best he is good enough but not amazing. Usually his best appears one in ten games. Let's see and notake quick judgements like the way of the world.
-
Maybe his personal circumstances have altered, family illness perhaps. These guys are human at the end of the day. I hope that's not the case but if it is then who can really blame him. We might all do the same.
-
Did he shine more or less than Armstrong for Celtic? Genuine question as I don't know but the point is S Armstrong is now a key player for us despite a slow start in out team. It is possible that Moi needed the time away to develop into a player capable of being useful for us. I'm hoping that's the case.
