I'd like to appologise on behalf of William. Unfortunately he is a terminal patient at a local house who we have taken, along with other patients to Hedge End driving range. Due to his illness, William now believes he is a 'proffessional' and often makes up stories of his achievements to sound better than others. It can be very embarassing especially in cases such as this and others such as the time Colin Montgomery visited. I can assure you that William has never captained Europe to Ryder Cup glory. I hope everyone who has been upset by William's comments will forgive him and understand that his illness causes him to become deluded and often antagonistic. Yours apologetically, Dr. X

Up to the players if they stay IMO. If they want to stay they can both offer us something but if they want to leave they can. The club doesn't rely on them, they rely on the club.

Just a guess but this game was only recently arranged. I'm assuming Sky contact clubs and ask for a list of pre season fixtures and this wouldn't have been one of the ones we listed because it hadn't been arranged at the time.

IMO there are players waiting for a CCC club to come and get them. Players like Lita that don't want to play for a league 1 team. Maybe our ambition, Pardew and the wages that we can offer (hopefully at this stage no more than on a par with a mid-table CCC club for the top players) will tempt some to drop down a division for a season or two.

Just a rumour, but apparently Darren Fergusen has had a request to speak to us accepted after we enquired (with a decent sum of money) about his availability. The thing is he can't just walk away, he has to try and sell the club. To do that he's going to have to keep financing it until he finds a buyer or he could lose everything. The person he sells to will have money therefore they will be able to afford to continue spending what ML starts.

Will be an early announcement tomorrow IMO. Could drag on for a couple of days with the contracts if they took things at a 'normal' slow pace but I think everyone wants it over with so contracts will be pushed through late this evening for an announcement tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
