I will be smoking an unfeasibly large cigar and wearing an engineer's stovepipe hat in the manner of IK Brunel. I will be checking my timepiece at regular intervals and making sundry jottings in my notebook.

I have consulted the Observer's Book of Pitch Invasions (F.Warne & co. Ltd published 1957 1st ed.). On a Football Club finishing either 7th or 8th, the following may be allowed upon the field of play at full time - 1. A flock of sheep comprising no more than 50 in number. 2. Chickens may roam within the 6 yard box. 3. Married couples may lay within the bounds of the centre circle for a maximum of 15 minutes. HTH.

If you require a steam engine to operate efficeiently, it is important to keep the firebox back corners plentifully supplied with good coal. This then provides a reservoir of heat, a deposit account if you will. Fine control can then be undertaken by flicking small amounts to the front and middle, thus providing the correct amount of steam at any given time. Black smoke at the chimney is a sign of incomplete combustion and is considered poor form!

How, pray tell, does one make a 'cheeky' bid for Reo Coker? -
4-1 at home to Gillingham which got us going. Superceded by David Connolly's third at Oldham which got us off the bottom. Superceded by Papa's last gasp goal against Norwich. Superceded by beating MK Dons and knowing we were at Wembley. Superceded by Sir Rickie's goal against Poopey. Superceded by blowing Norwich away at Carrow Road. Superceded by blowing Huddersfield away at SMS. Superceded by Sir Rickie's 40 yarder against MK Dons. Superceded by Antonio's 4th at Wembley.

Plastic - I used to take meself off to all the away games in me pram from the moment I was born. I presume it was this lack of commitment that led to you becoming an ex-Pat. It all makes sense now.
