USA Saints - No more NBC Gold
LVSaint replied to Dark Munster's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
Yes, tossers. They want to make sure that subscribers have a TV subscription too. This is just the beginning. They'll bring in Warren Barton from Fox next... -
I'd pardon you
-
The "well dodgy" thing about the 2020 election is that Trump got 10 million more votes than he did in 2016. This country is certifiable.

USA Saints - 50% off Peacock Premium

Yeah, did that this morning! -
Mitch McConnell wants this pantomime to run for as long as possible. He needs the Trump base to stay angry and energized for the two crucial Georgia Senate runoff elections in January so they can retain control of the Senate.
-
'Diaper Don' used to shit himself quite a lot, according to reports. Better a leaky willy than a leaky bum, I always say.
-
Yes I agreed; just backing up your point about how rare voter fraud is. Six times more people voted by mail this time, bound to be a few more dodgy votes.
-
The best we can go on, is to look to investigations of voter fraud carried out in recent years. Carried out by a wide range of groups, the conclusions were in the region of 1 to every 100,000-150,000.
-
He better hope he wins the lawsuits, he may be up to his eyeballs in them come January.
-
True. Did you see the interaction between Trump and the Arizona senatorial candidate McSally recently at one of his spreader events? She lost to an astronaut btw
-
Glad to see Fox News finding some integrity. They've got to come out of this with some credibility. Be interesting what #ucker Carlson and Hannity will have to say about all this.
-
Should be more resources for counting, knowing in advance that all these mail in ballots would need to be processed. There are two envelopes to open and a signature to match on them before they can even be tallied.
-
Pennsylvania looks too far gone, I think. Since Georgia is now in play, this and Wisconsin can win it for Biden, without needing Michigan (for example, although there are several variables). Millions of Democrat votes are out there....easily enough for a comfortable win IMO. Whether they get counted, remains to be seen. It's fucking pathetic.

My healthcare is subsidized by 50% by my employer (my family are not covered...that's about $900 per month for them). It's affordable (for me) but if I get very ill, I would still have to pay out $3500 'deductible' before costs are subsidized 80% by the insurance company. That can then run into 10's if not 100's of thousands of dollars. It varies by employer. My colonoscopy a few years ago cost me, out of pocket, about $1000 and a recent stress test with ultrasound was $700. It's a very sick system and I don't see any change happening.

I don't see Florida, Iowa or Texas going Dem, but the rust belt states, I think will flip back. House retained and Senate taken. Oh, and lots of votes voided by the courts, so none of the above will actually happen.
-
This is looking the likely outcome. We won't know for weeks, during which time, I expect all mail in ballots will be 'scrutinized'.
-
Yes, it will make it virtually impossible if he loses Florida - he'll have to hold onto the rust belt states (namely Penns and Wisconsin), Arizona, take Nevada, and then some. (He's trailing in all of these places, and with a less likely chance to clinch them than when he did 4 years ago) However, with so many postal votes around the country to count and 'contest', we still won't know officially until days/most likely weeks afterwards.

Yes it's crap that the increase of smaller streaming app services have nabbed the rights to shows that were once available on the mainstream Hulu and Netflix platforms. (ie Disney taking anything Marvel/Star Wars - HBOMax getting South Park/Studio Ghibli...etc) You need to invest in all these apps to get what you were used to getting. (For your UK shows, have you looked into getting BBC iplayer through a VPN?) TBF, Peacock, which isn't perfect, is at least cheaper than the previous NBC Gold offering. For now.

The polls are similar in those key states as they were in the run up to the 2016 election, with respect to the number Biden is ahead of Trump by. The difference this time is that he polls closer to the 50% mark than Clinton did, which leaves a smaller pool of undecided voters for Trump to take from. Of undecided voters 4 years ago, Trump took a whopping 60% (with 20% going each to Clinton and third candidate) People are more cemented in their choices this time it appears.
-
That's what happened in 2016. I'm glad Biden attacked back, otherwise it was turning into another Trump rally with a lot of talking bollocks. Biden came across as the tired angry grandad trying to scold a petulant (fat, orange) schoolboy. He also addressed the camera directly quite a bit, which was good. Round One to him, but only just. "Stand by"

I'm a glutton for punishment. Are there any streams that won't have my antivirus scream at me?

I miss the days of those Directv Extra time channels. Perfect quality, no buffering, TiVo controls, and could watch whenever I wanted instead of when they decided to upload the replays on Gold. ( Directv and TiVo RIP too, but that's another story) Hopefully Peacock have a more polished streaming service than Gold, but I won't hold my breath (it could be worse) Concerned that Roku and Peacock are at loggerheads right now, they've got a few weeks to sort it out. Just read that non televised games (gold pass games) are only available live and replays available NEXT DAY. this means that if you live on the west coast, watch live at 7am, otherwise you're fucked. I remember reading something similar two years ago with the gold pass, but luckily it never materialized. Hope it doesn't this time either. -
I can't see the allegation derailing Biden, it's not as if Trump can weigh in on the subject is it.
