  1. Agree with all that. Mane and Djuricic moved the ball quickly and looked to stretch Palace more than any of our other options. Will be interesting to see how we set up away to Chelsea though as it'll be a very different game to dealing with teams that are just parking the bus against us.
  2. I thought Schneiderlin and Mane were our best players, Forster very good as well. Schneiderlin stood out for his attitude and focus as much as anything else, really seemed to have the bit between his teeth. I agree with various others, Djuricic pretty good, but Elia really doesn't do enough for me, despite a fair bit of effort. I think Palace are a good side, surprised they haven't got more points on the board so far. Support/atmosphere was a funny mix. Loads and loads of empty seats in ours and Palaces end. Fair few groans and idiotic shouts of "shooot" throughout the first half, decent prolonged spell of OWTS through the 2nd half lifted things. Palace definitely one of the better away supports at the moment.
  3. Absolute joke ref, time wasting the whole game and only 4mins added on at the end I think. I guess we should take it as a compliment though.
  4. Same as people that rattled on about Lambert last year, no actual answer though. There is a reason why we haven't signed a better option than Pelle.
  5. Because I know how tough the top 6 of the Prem is, how few footballers there are that can play a top centre forward role , its the reason that such footballers cost £30m. Problem is modern day s**thouses like you, don't know how good we've got it and fill these pages with crap.
  6. Thanks for sharing that with us.
  7. Good point. There were strikers out there, available, at an affordable price, we just didn't sign them for a laugh......
  8. West Brom properly time wasted from the minute they scored. Embarrassing for a home team, and a compliment for us I guess.
  9. And there we are. What did you want the club to do? What top 6 Premier League Strikers have we missed out on? Who's taking the Premier League by storm this February, if only we'd spotted them...........
  10. Can you imagine this forum surviving in the 80s or 90s
  11. Why? Today was way more than the good or bad points of Pelle.
  12. I still haven't seen an explanation for why we'd need three CBs and Schneiderlin and Wanyama? Especially against West Brom. Pelle is a better player than Long and should therefore play. Very strong match day squad though.
  13. We don't need three Centre Backs if we're also starting with Schneiderlin and Wanyama.
  14. What a ***t that man is. Who'd have known he took such a keen interest in the contents of our programmes.
  15. the player that was groaned about in the early games. He's been decent for us, we don't create enough full stop.
  16. Pointless thread. There is a very valid point about what we do in the final third, but that stretches much further than just Pelle.
  17. F**k knows why panic is setting in for them now, any half clued up United would have seen the writing on the wall for a while, they've been terrible, poor manager, s**t biggest wage earner, very lucky that some of their competitors have underpeformed. arsenal defintely, and Spurs, Liverpool and us very probably the better side so far this season I reckon.
  18. Currently "likely", but not guaranteed at all. It's going to the wire I reckon, from 4th place to 7th. Top three will be Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal will be a couple of points between us in 7th and someone like Man Utd in 4th I can see, as frustrating as it'll be.
  19. Stick to meeting strangers in pubs, proper weirdo behaviour. One day,you might make your own friends fingers crossed.
  20. Loners who go to football on their own
  21. Exactly that really. Bully boy behaviour, c**ts trick really, regardless of the reason behind it. Front pages of newspapers, BBC Website etc is crazy though. I guess so much of our media is driven by what they see/follow on social media, they just pick it up and run with it as a quick and easy win, regardless of whether the story is really important.
  22. That's not what I asked is it. If they didn't let the bloke on the train because he was French or because of the club he supported, would the incident be viewed differently to you?
