  1. They won't have confirmed tv games yet for the last weekend of the season, I guess what has been agreed is the time/day that ALL Prem games will be kicking off that weekend.
  2. Flying all the way to Uruguay and back in the space of a few days is rubbish preparation for a massive game. Obviously he's got to do it for whatever personal reasons, but it's not going to do our prep for the Reading game any good.
  3. A total of 3 points from Wigan, Swansea, Fulham and Norwich at home - really not good enough. 4 points is the absolute minimum from these two games.
  4. I thought you commuted into London and would already have a ticket to cover travelling into London? If not, as VFTT says, try breaking the journey into two.
  5. See Old Sarum's posts above. Looks like you can do it for about £26 return from London still.
  6. You can do it cheaper than that if you're happy to take the London Midland service.
  7. No that would be even worse. Fans would be going back and forth throughout the game getting the beers in, spilling them all over the place every time a goal goes in. Liverpool showed on Saturday how easy it is to eradicate the "half-time problem".
  8. Just had a quick look on our ticket site, wasn't going to count them up, but still seem to be plenty available in all the usual bits of the ground. Is it true that Reading haven't taken block 43?
  9. Very unlikely it'll sell out full stop. Agree re the OP, excellent pricing, no complaints on that.
  10. Why does that "have to be good"? Most of us started going as kids back then without too much of a problem and the need for a dancing dog.
  11. Exactly, we HAVE to win this. So far this season, we've had Wigan, Fulham, Swansea and Norwich at home, got the grand total of three points out of those 4 games - clearcut relegation form.
  12. We'll put out a full strength side I reckon, can't see us resting players for a game against Chelsea. Tickets will be over £30 without a doubt.
  13. Go to the Platform Tavern, then along Oxford Street, best you'll get in Southampton really. Where you staying?
  14. Agreed. However, I fully expect it to be at least £30 a ticket.
  15. Agreed, seemed to show them too much respect. Never really got stuck into Liverpool at all, an allround tired, lacklustre, uninspiring performance. Our support was poor, very quiet, with large amounts sat down, but that really wasn't helped with the huge over the top police and steward set-up. All for £42. Yesterday was a good reminder of how s**t being back in the Prem can be at times.
  16. Certainly on the face of it, good news, none of us want to pay out anymore to agents than we need to. However, could this also be a reason why we've missed out on signings in key areas? Also, am I right in thinking that clubs use agents in lots of different situations and not only when buying players? They are often used by selling clubs and we haven't sold anyone in that period, which might contribute to the figure being low?

    Shaw

I thought Shaw was excellent last night defensively, think he could work on offering a bit more going forwards as he gains in confidence.
  18. We went long loads yesterday.
  19. So because Adkins ballsed up the subs against Man Utd, we can now expect him not to make any subs until very late in the game? He definitely needed to liven things up yesterday, but didn't make any changes. Agree, re the standard of officials, have been very poor in the last few weeks.
  20. Something or other has to be amiss with Boruc, as a keeper of his pedigree should really be head and shoulders above our other two in the pecking order. Got to wonder why he wasn't snapped up earlier.
  21. Pretty much spot on. Think Adkins could have done with livening things up a lot earlier - Mayuka would have been my shout, get on the end of some of those Lambert flicks. I thought Cork and Schneiderlin struggled a bit - Norwich were first to lots of 2nd balls and the passing from our midfield two wasn't quick or incisive enough.
  22. Yeah, completely agree. comes back yet again to our questionable transfer policy in the summer, but we probably don't need to go over all that yet again.
  23. Any one of the Keepers at Spurs would be a good, realistic option and an improvement on our current three.
  24. Exactly this. Forget the goal, the lad ain't good enough yet. I fully expect Davis or Boruc to play at Liverpool.
