  1. So which pubs would be full of 'flange' on a Saturday morning in Liverpool?
  2. Doesn't really excite me to be honest, money could be spent much better elsewhere.
  3. Yet another rubbish attempt at a wind-up.
  4. Sour Mash

    Di Matteo

I'd say Adkins is better. How much actual 'management' did Di Matteo do in that Champs League run? It was Lampard, Terry and Drogba running the show. What sort of job did he do at WBA?
  5. To be fair, I've seen more people wearing this new shirt than previous years. And why wouldn't the "current regime" have figures from pre 2009? I'd imagine the shop has kept records, wouldn't really be too hard for them to do.
  6. Who would you drop from our current match day squad for Lee to have a place?
  7. Wouldn't necessarily have to be reduced segregation, just move the netting two-thirds across block 43 for example?
  8. Not really, one of the better local papers, particularly considering the size of Southampton. Always has plenty of good football and cricket stuff in it, occasionally there is an article that doesn't paint Saints in a positive light, so what?
  9. Couple of very good performances this season aren't enough to paper over several years of a pretty indifferent career. Look forward to him doing it for us consistently for us for a whole season.
  10. Very surprised by that. Guess all their Europa League journeys will take priority for many.
  11. As you say, it's almost a better option for season ticket holders, better view. Regardless, anyone who isn't a season ticket holder or doesn't have many aways next to their name should get on this asap, turn the whole stand into the away end.
  12. Thanks for sharing that with us.
  13. He was not 'ok' yesterday, he was poor, very sloppy and we're lucky QPR weren't good enough to take advantage.
  14. We looked a fair bit better when Davis came on to be honest. Ramirez hasn't quite got going for me yet, still early days obviously.
  15. Said it on here yesterday. A club our size needs such a big signing to really make a difference. He's not doing enough for me.
  16. F*****g brilliant win, top day, but how s**t were QPR? Have to keep things a little in context.
  17. Not really Cork's biggest fan, but happy to stand corrected, been very good last two games. Very good at being bang on those 2nd balls which we haven't been on top of this year.
  18. Its not the full allocation though. Here's why Man United only had 2k http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereveningnews/news/s/1584162_welcome-to-anfield-manchester-united-ticket-allocation-boosted-for-liverpool-clash
  19. I agree that we still could really do with more pace in the side, particularly going forward, I'd like to see Mayuka starting with Lambert personally. But there are a few contradictions in the rest of your post. The fans are "too fickle", but insist on sticking with Lallana and Lambert (two of our best performing players over the last 3 years). That is the opposite to fickle. And Lee isn't good enough and you're unlikely to see him or De Ridder anywhere near the first team as things currently stand.
  20. Thieving scousers nicked our allocation.
  21. Definitely sloppier in the field of late, could well be due to the departure of Collingwood.
  22. Yep, would pretty much agree with that. We bat a long way down anyway, with the likes of Swann and Broad regularly contributing with runs regularly.
  23. He's a massive signing for us, both in terms of money and status. For a club like us to shell out that sort of dough we really need him to stand out, take control of games and run the show, not just show glimpses of talent here and there. There's no doubt the lad has ability, we just need to make sure we get as much out of him as we can.
  24. Would you have had Panesar in? I'm not a massive fan of his, but guess he's all we've got to fall back on in terms of a recognised 2nd spinner.
