Will mean I can actually enjoy getting behind England in the Euros. Hodgson might not play up to certain bits of the media in the way 'Arry does, but he's not exactly unpopular either is he?

No you don't. Can you tell us how tall a defender needs to be, to be successful in the Prem? -

Was saying to a couple of mates a few weeks ago, Fulham's player recruitment policy is one worth having a look at, they seem to have got very good at targeting the players/nations that are just a step below where the "bigger" clubs seem to target and go under the radar, but still represent Prem League quality players at decent value. Probably helps that they've had two wise old heads with good experience of the European game in Hodgson and Jol. -

With the greatest of respect mate, that is an absolutely terrible list! -

I guess ultimately we'll go for the best players/best value/risk, wherever they might be coming from. I'd be happy with maybe one ex-Prem, one hungry up and coming from the Champ and maybe one or two from abroad. Wouldn't want all signings to be from just one of those particular groups. -

Absolutely no point in guessing names on here. PRobably a more worthwhile debate would be what type of players we're going to go for? British of foreign? Newcastle have shown where the bargains currently are, but that's easier said than done. What I think we do need is one or two more heads with experience in playing in the Prem, it is a massive step up and we're a bit short on the ground in that regard. -
Would have been great at Boro, 3k travelling fans going nuts. Having sad that build up etc to yesterday was good and as stated above all the media coverage has been good.
-
Quite. I wonder how many would have been applauding them, shaking hands and holding up a SISU OUT banner if they'd nicked a 1-0 win!
-
Agreed. Definitely an odd thing to come out with, completely unpromted, regardless of the emotion. Can't see any reason at all for it, I really don't think he'll be going anywhere soon.
-
West Ham will go up. They're a fair bit better than the 3 other teams.
-
That figure definitely right? Thought it'd be higher considering the season we've had.
-
Quality coverage by the BBC, would be class to have a copy saved to look back on in years to come.

'Another one bites the dust'? Whoever was on the PA really is a knob!

Well the likes of Adkins and Davis said they were 'gutted' to not win the league.
-
They look like they're having a great laugh?

Nice one. Round of applause for those two gents!
-
Cheers for that, very useful knowing the relevant dates.

You do know old Reeves is don't you? Can't see any of the current crop of development squad players making the jump to Prem League football any time soon!
-
Yeah think so. Someone dig out the thread.

This. Also, step forward and take the glory whoever first came up with the song, surely the post prophetic football song of all time?

15th.

Any chance you could be a touch more patronising?

Been to every league game under Adkins. Enjoyed this one less than most others. Onwards and upwards.

Thing I hate about big home games. City is full of utter bell ends who can't hold their beer & don't know how to behave.
