Absolutely! Rickie is a similar type of player to Teddy Sheringham - Not the quickest but has the 2 most important attributes - His reading of the game and his goal scoring prowess.. Carroll can't compete with him IMHO

One hell of an engine in him but little end product that perhaps his athleticism demanded. When running a full tilt, I always thought they would have to open the tunnels at the end of the ground as he would not be able to stop in time !!

I am usually a fairly even handed poster who has supported the board, but this has infuriated me ! I thought we had more class than this ! I wish Nigel every success in whatever he does next ( he will not be out of work long which is a good thing), and thank him very much for everything he has done for the club. He deserved better IMHO.
