And by being allowed to deport scum like Chindamo who murdered the London Headmaster, and the persistant offending illegal immigrant who left that little Lancashire lass for dead under the wheel of his car would also send a powerful message too !

I think it is a measure of many peoples distrust of Cameron that folk like yourself ( and me as a protest vote on occasions), feel they have to turn to UKIP to feel their vote counts. 1980's under Thatcher had no need for other parties - She represented hard working, stand on your own two feet folk and reap your rewards for doing so. People from all walks of life voted for her as they agreed with her general philosophy.
-
I understand and agree that the dynamics of the coalition must mean Cameron has to play a different hand right now, but I have yet to see any firm principles or beleifs from him that indicate to me that he is prepared to make tough ( but nevertheless popular with many) decisions. He talks a good game of course, but the jury is still out from me as to whether he will deliver.

Many "working class" people have a strong work ethic, and this was encouraged during the Thatcher years of the 1980 - It matched many peoples values and beliefs regardless of "class or background". Now we are faced with "work hard get taxed hard" to fulfil a load of over-liberal, politically correct bull****e instead! I know which era I prefer.

At times of austerity caused by tax and spend policies of a labour government, I agree with Dune that 1980's conservative politics as seen under Maggie is a bloody good medicine. I too was one with working class roots who was proud to vote for Maggie in the 1980s - She represented my aspirations and views as to what I thought was right for the time My concern is that there is currently no Maggie to put right what is wrong! Cameron is a "wishy washy" - "Wanna be everyones friend" media obsessed lightweight with no guts ! Yes Maggie divided opinion, but my god could we do with her now!

No More , No Less !

Good man Rickie ! The season is only at the half time stage, and there is plenty of time for him to keep up his record as the leagues leading scorer.. A brace at Charlton towards a Saints victory would be an ideal start.
-
Ah Yes the erstwhile Storrieteller- The man who makes Rupert and Mikey look like Bill Gates ! I miss his pearls of wisdom and foresight. After all his quote about taking Pompey to a level that would never beleive is coming true is it not Merry Xmas to all Saints and special Xmas condolences to Mack and Mero - Without their honorable presence we would have nobody nice to play with!
-
Excellent news! Even if ( and its a bloody big IF) the Skates are entitled to the £1 million, it is delayed by another 3 months at least which adds extra strain on Baloo and co to balance the books !
-
I would imagine that the clumsy dinlo's at HMRC might take umbridge at having their 4p return cut to 2p or whatever, and would have a second bite at the cherry ! However their previous record in enforcing WUO's on the cheating fishmongers hardly stands up as an example of an iron fist !!

Nigel Farage's Christmas Message To The EU Bureucrats
Foxstone replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
Farage says what a not insignificant number of people actually think, but are all to often slapped down by the politically correct brigade that pervades our society nowadays. More power to his elbow I say ! -
I will be interested to hear if Messrs Ho, PES and pfc123 beleive their -9 punishment for entering administration for the 2nd time was comparable to Dundee's -25 for the same offence?

Really don't need him. If we have money to spend then we should spend it on a striker or a wide man - Not in a position where we are already strong.

Wilde's Business has been wound up and liquidated by HMRC
Foxstone replied to exit2's topic in The Saints
Sad for him and his employees.. But the guy struck me as a dreamer quite early into his tenure at SMS - And so it transpired. I'm afraid whatever way you look at it, he played his considerable part in our demise! -
He's going to do a Mikey Wilde ! Sh1t or bust for promotion this season ( and he might even invest a few bob along the way) ! If he gets them there then its all sweet ! If they fail then they will be back in the brown mucky stuff again and Baloo cuts his losses but cutting the clubs - To ribbons!
-
We were at the same match although it was the Centenary of the Football League and not the FA. A barmy August evening as I recall. We also were in awe of the same player. I remember watching him warm up, doing effortless "keepy uppys" kicking the ball 10 yards or more in the air each time, and not letting the ball drop once. I thought it was impossible to do - Until Don Diego did it !
-
Interesting that he refers to Poopey as an "Insolvent wreckage" ! Does still beg the question as to how an "Insolvent Wreckage" can finance premier quality players while in administration ! Perhaps Storrie Ho might like to comment ?
-
\and another from Frattonman ! " If those poxy Italians paid us what they owed us then we could pay the wages " Schadenfreude and ROFL !!!!!
-
Personally I believe they are going 5hit or bust for promotion - If they make it then Baloo will make a return and some more - If they fail then Baloo will cut his losses and the whole sorry debacle will "Bust" !
-
Very impressed by him: NA is clearly a good tactician and an effective coach but more importantly he thinks and he motivates ! I also subscribe to Dune's view that his hunger for success will drive and motivate him ! He is indeed a very good choice.

Tamas Vasko played a couple of pre-season matches in the summer of 2007 before Georgie Boy passed on him.

Bloody good speeches ! Klingons, North London Yobbos and the Vineyards of Naboth were all my particular favourites ! -

Questionning the CEO is absolutely fine and legitimate SOG, but its the small number of buffoons who continually dismiss and snipe at him just because they hate him ! I'm sure some just have a "hate the gaffer whoever it is" mentality, but perhaps they need to reflect on where we were before Cortese, and what would have happened if he had not persuaded Markus to put his money into saving us from freefall into the Non-leagues - With not even a cup final at Wembley to enjoy! -
