  1. Neither Yoshida or Hooiveld are sufficient for cover, shocking.
  2. Southend losing in their cup final 1-0 after 2 minutes
  3. The FA ‏@FA 8m VIDEO: Watch our free-kick masterclass with #EnglandU21s and @SouthamptonFC midfielder James Ward-Prowse: http://the-fa.com/zHOtAw
  4. Neil Allen ‏@pn_neil_allen 5m So to recap on busy day at #Pompey. In - Jervis (Uefa permitting). Loans out - Butler (Aldershot), Nick Awford and Harris (both Chelmsford). Thought Harris was the next big thing? Or has that passed now?
  5. BBC Solent Sport ‏@solentsport 20s #Saintsfc boss Mauricio Pochettino tells us he was "surprised" to read that Artur Boruc had a hamstring injury. Says he's fine for Saturday.

  9. Seriously?! Some of you lot on here are complete fairies Fox playing a game isn't going to mean we lose ffs, man up and support the team, or do you forget us beating Man City last season with Fox starting and also playing comfortably for 90 minutes? Or does that escape your memory? F**k me.
  10. Yep! Evidently I did, apologies
  11. Usually your points are worth reading, but when Lambert is involved you turn into a right arse dont you? not even a congratulations from you either, just strange.
  12. Or maybe you just hijack every thread and become a tedious, boring tw*t?
  13. I work at Sports Direct and I can tell you the zero hours contract can be useful one week then ridiculous the next, although all staff are told once they join that their work performance will reflect in the number of hours they get given, so can't have too many complaints really!
  14. I think Callejon is more of a winger and a 'play off the striker' kind of player, so I reckon they'll still be in the market for a big out and out striker still to replace Cavani.
  15. Fantastic news
  16. Well I can form an opinion on the players after going to the Wolves game at the Silverlake, Chambers was the stand out player for me in the RB position, extremely solid in defending and had the ability to push up past the winger on his side Isgrove/Rowe with pace and trickery to go with it. I also know that England U19's Utilised him in the rB position against Turkey??? The other week where he scored, To be fair the whole defence of him, Stephens (very vocal) Turnbull (looked like he had a fair bit if pace on him) and targett were very solid on the whole, I think Targett also posted on Twitter yesterday that he's been called up to the Scotland U19's squad! With Midfielders and Wingers I thought Isgrove looked like a cracking player, very nippy and skilful he took on their defence countless times and hit the post after a good run in the dying stages, Rowe and him swapped wings a fair bit, Rowe looked okay, but not as good as I've seen him play on streams this season. In the centre they had gape and reed who I think we're possibly making their first starts for the U21's. Both tracked back well, got stuck in and a good range of passing in them, Corby Moore played in the No. 10 role and looked okay, but most of our attacks came down the wings, and finally Sinclair looked a good prospect, a lot of pace on him with good finishing but looked a bit lightweight on the ball due to his size. Overall I think the most likely we'll see in the first team anytime soon is Isgrove and Chambers, they really were very good.
  17. Of course he's not going to be perfect, he's 17. It just seems he's that much more comfortable in this league than possibly any of the other defenders, maybe Clyne too but I agree with your point.
  18. Southampton FC ‏@SouthamptonFC 18s Southampton Football Club is pleased to announce that Rickie Lambert has extended his contract until 2016. #saintsfc pic.twitter.com/zvh32YomMb
  19. Right.. despite there being 52+ minutes left to play with just a 1 goal lead, where anything could happen?
  20. We haven't played at Sunderland yet, and when we did play them, we certainly didn't lose 3-0! You spout some utter B*ll*cks sometimes, don't you?
  21. Most probably due to the amount of laughs he delivers on a very regular basis, he's so special.. bless him.
  22. Neil Allen ‏@pn_neil_allen Wait a minute. Is this the same Keith Harris who found CSI for Portpin to sell #Pompey to? Oh yes it is.
  23. we will go down due to the stupid amount of points dropped from winning positions, it really will come back to haunt us, gutted.
