Only snag being that the FL don't give extra points for having a good bloke in the team. Bart must be given his chance now, if he is not up to scratch either then Saints must buy a new GK in January. Good goalkeepers give defenders confidence and confident players play a lot better than ones who are worried that their GK could make a mistake every time the ball goes towards him.

LONDON, Dec 12 (Reuters) - Former Arrows Formula One team boss and Gloucester rugby club chairman Tom Walkinshaw has died at the age of 64. A Gloucester club spokesman said a statement was likely to be issued on Monday morning, as tributes flowed on social network site Twitter. "Just heard that Tom Walkinshaw passed away today, great loss to the world of motorsport, good driver and team owner, RIP," said former Le Mans and F1 driver Mark Blundell. Walkinshaw, who had been suffering from cancer, enjoyed success with Jaguar in sportscars and at Le Mans, which TWR Jaguar won in 1988 and 1990. He then joined the Benetton team as director of engineering and brought with him Ross Brawn. The no-nonsense Scot was also instrumental in signing the young Michael Schumacher from Jordan after the German's impressive 1991 debut at Spa. After Schumacher's controversial first championship in 1994, Walkinshaw joined Ligier -- at the time owned by Benetton team boss Flavio Briatore -- before taking over at Arrows in 1996. Walkinshaw found himself with a world champion driver in Damon Hill on 1997 after the Briton won the title with Williams and was then dropped by that team. Arrows never won in 382 races, although Hill almost did in Hungary, and eventually folded in 2002 due to financial problems. The boss, a former chairman of the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC), remained a powerful character in motorsport, however, with a Holden team in Australia's V8 Supercar championship. It's called ASSET, which stands for Advanced Safety and Driver Support for Essential Transport. The camera uses 3D technology (whatever that is) to detect multiple driving offences at the same time. As well as speeding, it can see if you are wearing a seatbelt; measure the distance between your car and the car in front to see if you are too close; and read your number plate and tax disc to see if you have valid insurance and road tax. It is currently being tested in Finland, France, Germany and Austria and is expected to be seen on UK roads in 2013.

Saints 0 Brentford 2 - Post Match Depression
Saint in Paradise replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
After reading these pages it seems very much like the match against Rochdale, which I did see live at SMS in case anyone asks. After that game I was not very confident about KD in goal and reading here it seems he is still no better. Bart must be brought in and if he fails then a new goalkeeper is needed in January. Team confidence starts with the goalkeeper. -
Pinkscarf does appear to get upset easily, anyone who has read TSW for a few weeks will know what Deppo is like. Actually now and then Deppo posts seem normal.

That is what I thought when I saw it on LiveLeak yesterday

My wifes 3 month old Acer laptop won't turn off, the screen is totally blank and operating any keys has no effect either. Plugging the mains power in and the orange charging light lights up. Should I try taking the battery out, IF I can find it, or is it best to just take it back to the shop ?

For the last 18 hours or so I am able to get the forum ie Lounge but am then unable to open any indivdual threads. If you can read this though it proves that I can post new threads. This happens using Firefox and IE8. It also happens on another couple of websites as well but others are ok, like the BBC and Sky news. I have done disc clean up, defrag and run anti virus and anti spyware nothing shows up. I have an old computer which I could connect and try but that is slow anyway to start with.

Wikileaks now going after a Bank
Saint in Paradise replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
I am a tad surprised that Sarah Palin hasn't asked that good friend of the U.S. ( North Korea ) to assist with finding the Wiki bloke To think, that woman could have been a heart attack away from being President -

I agree with that plus I still have a smile when reading about people thinking that fifa would have given the WC to the UK anyway. IMHO fifa were just looking for any excuse not to give it to the UK. However I read somewhere that that person wondered IF the BBC did it so that fifa would have to give it to the UK to show that they are not as corrupt as people think. IMHO it doesn't matter to fifa who has the WC as I think they only care about who will send the most money back to fifa. .

A report into this month's engine explosion on a Qantas A380 jet is expected to show it was far more serious than we've heard. The report is due this week after the incident near Singapore on November 4. The inquiry will reveal if the presence of two extra pilots, who happened to be on the flight, saved the plane from disaster. Experts say a standard crew of three wouldn't have been able to deal with so many problems at once. http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/mp/8407266/a380-report-to-reveal-serious-problems/

Well if the club do read this forum and report back to Mr C may I ask them to ask him IF he got my letter ? The ticket office know my contact details BTW the deputy CEO of Air New Zealand responded to a letter and it wasn't a stock reply it was a personal reply that addressed every single point that I had made. Air New Zealand is a much larger company than Saints and known by a lot more people throughout the world.
