You lot moaning about paying 15 quid for a ticket to see Saints annoy me just a tad. I paid about 5000 quid to watch Rochdale this past September. I also had to endure about 26 hours on a plane and a stay in a noisy Travelodge. So there nah nah nah I am the bestest fan :lol:

Over the very long period I have followed Saints ( I am quite old ) having Mr Cortese in control has given me a lot more confidence that Saints will be very sucessful. I have in fact not felt this way for many many years. Really sucessful people have to be a tad ruthless at times and make choices that some others find distasteful. How sad, too bad. They also make mistakes now and then but as long as they learn from them they tend to go from strength to strength. Posters should remember that Mr Cortese has to answer to the Liebherr family who no doubt want Saints to be a great sucess. Whether that is to sell the club or for their personal satisfaction no-one on here can answer.

Usually they kept them just away from port, repaired them enough to get back then sailed in as though nothing had happened. Families spun a story which being good navy types they "believed". Proper repairs then done during the next refit which was brought forward as a slot in the calendar had suddenly become available. .

DD I can only answer for myself but I have had enough of people hijacking serious threads. They think that they are being extremely amusing but in reality they are showing how totally retarded, demented and idiotic they are. I have reverted to registered even though it is only a few weeks since I renewed just so I can continue to read match reports. I am tempted to name names but I regret to suggest that the admins know who I mean but do not appear to do very much in curbing this childish nonsence indeed they just appear to let these posters carry on regardless.
