Fair comment if it was a normal business in front of him BUT sometimes football clubs appear to be given much more leeway than normal firms. That is again my major concern, I would love to be wrong like I am most of the time, well my wife says I am.

Come on then, admit it, what films have made you cry...

I have just got in from a very long day at work and happened to read some of this thread. I wish I hadn't bothered as I am depressed now. I usually like reading what Weston and FF post ( Not that bit about Mr Liebherr selling though ) but now some other posters have decided to deride them so much that they will stop is, for someone like me who lives a few miles from Soton, a blasted nuisence. This forum is the only place for me to get news.

A while ago on another thread Dubai Phil told of a friend who is a frequent business class flyer being bumped off a BA flight. Well today I heard of a friend who booked and paid for 2 adult and 3 children return business class Auckland to London. When they checked in they were told that there had been an electronic error so sorry but 3 of you can't go business you have to go cattle class. The man is also a frequent business class flyer and is now back here in NZ. The family come back in 3 months time but they might be trying to change airlines, I know I would. What a nasty thing to do, wait until they book in knowing full well it is far too late to make alternative arrangements and then just saying "sorry but tough" .

Ah you must have been on a date with Dave Benson Phillip or Turkish then and I thought it was going to be a thread saying how wonderful us men are.

You have some "great" people in the UK don't you ?
-
No Indians and Israelies although the very worst person was a man from the UK. I gave him and his group approx 45% discount from our normal summer price and he still moaned that we were 2 Pounds ( equivalent ) more than the place across the road. I asked him what he would say if his boss in the UK said he had to take a 45% pay cut but instead of saying what most would say, "get stuffed" he said he would quite happily accept it. This was in 2002. I told him that he better go across the road then. We had a Qualmark 4 star rated Motel and the place across the road was so down market they didn't bother to get rated

How did your suspended wife get on Dr Who ??

Didn't "Flossy" marry another poster ? Perhaps that is why she is not allowed to post anymore then ? I miss her lingerie pictures in threads. Mind you I also miss those lingerie threads that used to appear

I recently had two small problems, one was a ticket issue so I e-mailed Mr Luker as I wasn't sure who else to contact. Within a very short time a young lady from the ticket office replied asking me to phone her. I did and within seconds my problem was totaly solved. Almost at the same time as her e-mail I had another e-mail from a gentleman in a different section at the club with the info I needed with regard to my other problem. After another exchange of e-mails that second problem was also solved. I like to think that as I was polite in my comunications this helped a lot, was Mr Illingworth polite or was he mouthy with a "do you know who I am" attitude ? Treating people how you expect to be treated can make a tremendous difference in regards to how you actually are treated.
