Lexus New Zealand is recalling 185 of its V8 and GS450 vehicles because manufacturing flaws have been found in engine valve springs. Reliability tests in Japan discovered the problem which could cause abnormal engine noise or unstable idling. Lexus New Zealand national manager Debbie Pattullo said the springs would be replaced over the next few months, to remove the possibility of future problems. "While no problems have been reported, and the chances of an incident are remote, Lexus wants to replace the springs so it can be confident no future problems will occur." Earlier parent company Toyota warned the fault potentially required a recall that could affect up to 270,000 vehicles. http://msn.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10655816&ref=rss .

Speilberg is a very strong believer in UFOs and aliens young Ponty

When I read that name I instantly think of a NZ politican named David Benson Pope http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Benson-Pope In May 2005 Benson-Pope stood down from cabinet after allegations that he had physically abused students while teaching at Bayfield High School in the 1980s. The allegations included charges he stuffed a tennis-ball in a student's mouth and taped his hands to a desk, threw tennis balls at students' heads, caned a student until he bled, and smacked a student in the face with the back of his hand on a school camp, making his nose bleed. Benson-Pope strongly denied the accusations.

Do you honestly believe that the truth would be told to us As for aliens being too far away to worry about, well millions "know" that aliens are already with us here on Earth .

Actually a tremendous help would be having players showing some honesty instead of cheating. -
Totally agree

Anyone else having a problem with P.M.s ? I have sent but not received an answer and thats from people who normally reply to my dim questions. Are they not getting through or have people got fed up with me ? Also when you delete P.M.s how long does the forum keep them in storage ? .

Good man DD you are safe for now then:lol:

The only person I mock about such things is you. The only time UFOs are reported in the main media is when they can dismiss them as natural events. The real scarey stuff is never mentioned. Delldays you ought to ask your sonar people about strange objects tracked underwater with no logical explanation. For your future prospects don't post anything on here though as you will end up in deep trouble. http://ufos.about.com/sitesearch.htm?terms=uso&SUName=ufos&TopNode=99

Probably ghosts of dead sparrows come to haunt him in revenge for him wanting to murder one the other day. .

"Bridgey" beware, I said don't get married. Michael Douglas' ex-wife has filed a lawsuit claiming she is entitled to half the money he has earned from new film 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps'. Diandra Luker received a $45 million payout from the couple's divorce in 2000, but she now claims she is entitled to 50 per cent of the earnings Michael makes from any spinoffs to his previous films. The 65-year-old actor - who has been married to 'Chicago' actress Catherine Zeta-Jones for 10 years - is said be furious with his former spouse's suit. Michael starred in the original 'Wall Street' movie in 1987, and according to him, the new Oliver Stone movie is a "sequel", not a "spinoff". However, Diandra's lawyer Nancy Chemtob told Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper last week: "It's the same character, the same title, just years later." Michael's lawyer Marilyn Chinitz said: "They're not the same thing. "He doesn't want her to be an albatross around his neck forever." http://nz.entertainment.yahoo.com/110132/michael-douglas-gets-lawsuit-from-ex/index.html .

One chain store over here is taking advance orders for a Panasonic TV that can switch between 3D and HD. I had a look at a normal 3d TV and because one eye is better than the other even with those cardboard glasses it was still a bit blured, to me anyway. No point in my buying one then

I still find the pages somewhat "bright" BUT as has been pointed out the admins have spent a lot of time and trouble doing something that I wouldn't have a clue about doing. So tough luck on me then and tough luck on you lot because I shall still stay and re-new my sub.

The following will I am sure lead to much violent unrest in NZ prisons :- "The NZ Government has confirmed that prison inmates will have to kick their nicotine habit. In an effort to stub out smoking in the country's prisons Corrections Minister Judith Collins says a blanket smokefree policy will apply to all prisons from next July. There will be no smoking allowed anywhere at any time in prisons. Ms Collins says support will be given to help inmates give up their smoking habits". ( BIG DEAL ) http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-stories/7476154/no-smoking-in-prisons-its-official/ How do you think a similar ruling would go down in UK prisons ? .

Who actually runs the England football team ?
Saint in Paradise replied to alpine_saint's topic in General Sports
I think that has been the sorry state for a few years now. -
Sorry Alpine But as one of many who want Saints to do really well and, to be honest, don't care THAT much about Internationals I just tried to cheer people up. I mean a hangover is quite painfull
-
To be a bit fair to Mr Capello if he can't sort out those prima donnas I think others will also find it very difficult as well. Paying people over 100,000 per week will not help players realise they are not very good.

There will be massive amounts of hangovers in Scotland :lol:
