  1. Would be even better if they turned to the right now and then instead of only going around left handed corners.
  2. Today is May 30th, June 30th = 1, July 30th = 2, August 30th = 3 BUT the season starts at the begining of August not the end so it is only just over 2 months .
  3. He is from Eastleigh you know :D
  4. Winter starts offically here in NZ on June 1st.
  5. When I was on training courses in Shirehampton we could hear them testing the engines. I also wonder if they would still be flying if they had been made by Boeing or Lockheed. .

  7. It is Very Dangerous chaps. A Hamilton man has had 300 stitches in a leg after being attacked by his female partner with a craft knife. The incident, in suburban Dinsdale in Hamilton West about 11am yesterday, has left police asking people who feel under pressure at home to seek help before something more tragic happens. The 48-year-old man had to be taken to Waikato Hospital where he required 300 stitches to his right leg to close the wound that ran from his right thigh to down below his knee. A 23-year-old woman was arrested and was to appear in Hamilton District Court today, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Well she certainly did cause grievous bodily harm IMHO http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-stories/7318163/man-gets-300-stitches-after-partners-knife-attack/ .
  8. I must admit to being a bit out of touch with the UK laws but I was amazed to read that in the UK a law has been passed called "The Civil Contingencies Act 2004" This law enables the PM, a Govt Minister or the Govt Chief Whip to dismantle the Rule of Law overnight. This can happen if they just think an emergency might happen. There is a very interesting academic study called "The Civil Contingencies Act 2004" by Clive Walker and James Broderick ( OUP,2006) This Act allows the suspension of travel, seizing of property, forced evauation, special Courts and arbitrary detention and arrest, as well as lots of other stuff. If they are wrong and nothing happens there is no sanction against the person who invoked those powers. .
  9. I am sure that he will be closely monitered and whomsoever talks to him will be noted for the future. The saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" springs to mind. He does seem a bit confused about Osama Bin Laden though, well to me anyway. .
  10. Anyone know anything about this team ?, they were promoted into L1 on Sunday so is Saints related
  11. You all do realise that the aliens on the Moon have forbidden Man to go into Space much higher than just Earth orbit right ? :D:D .
  12. Well thats telling me then mind you I think that there are probably more Samoans here in Auckland NZ than on their home islands. Auckland has the largest number of Polynesian people than any other city in the world.
  13. Sorry but I would need to hear that from someone I know who is in fact a good friend of that family. This person though is too much of a gentleman to comment on such a rumour on this site.
  14. Ah so they get a "feel good" feeling so they can pretend, for a few seconds anyway, that they are almost normal and so can mix in with us peasants / ex- pat types . A bit like when the Queen goes walkabout at her garden parties. Not that I am saying these admins are queens you understand. .
  15. the evenings in the UK will start to get darker and over here they will start to get lighter :D
  16. I think that this thread should be on the main board as it is about next seasons opponents for Saints. :D:D
  17. Go on I dare you :D
  18. People who don't like other people who are over 55 years old
  19. New Zealand for me before England anyway. Probably because I support Scotland so used to International team non-success Mind you if NZ only get 1 point that will be a triumph For a third team Japan, I think that Japanese ladies are gorgeous. :smt055 .
  20. Good to hear as I don't wish death on anyone, well I could name some but not in this thread.
  21. I really hope that you are correct and I also hope that HMRC are really using their top brains in this situation. However I am not very confident that this is in fact the case as Pimpey so far seem to have been let off the hook time and time again  .
  22. I think that they are all now together again as I think they are now all deceased
  23. Blackpool are lucky they are not in the Scottish leagues as they have rules about grounds being up to standard and they can refuse promotions if the ground is not good enough. I think that includes capacity as well but could be wrong. I also think, to keep on topic that the skates were lucky that the PL didn't operate sanctions because of that very rough and decrepid Fratton Park .
  24. Are "we" putting too much faith in HMRC ? I mean they don't seem as efficent as I had hoped Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has apologised after sending other people's personal information to 50,000 tax credit recipients. 7:48pm UK, Thursday May 27, 2010 Miranda Richardson, Sky News Online AND also don't forget this news 6:39am UK, Wednesday November 21, 2007 The Government has admitted that computer discs holding personal information on 25 million people claiming child benefit have gone missing.
