I know I am a tad forgetful at times but this beggars belief to me, how about you? A US mother has been charged with child abuse after she allegedly drove with her baby on the roof of her car. The one-month-old boy was found in a car seat on the ground near an intersection in Phoenix, Arizona, early on Saturday. The mother Catalina Clouser, 19, has also been charged with driving under the influence after admitting she had been smoking cannabis. Officer James Holmes said Clouser and her boyfriend had been at a nearby park on Friday evening. "The suspect's boyfriend and the suspect, along with her baby, left the park to purchase beer at around 11pm," he said. "The boyfriend was stopped by Phoenix officers and arrested for aggravated DUI after he was suspected of, and processed for being impaired while driving with the baby in the vehicle." A police report said Clouser drove to a friend's house, smoked more cannabis and then drove home after forgetting her son was on the roof of the car. She only realised what had happened when she got home. http://news.msn.co.nz/worldnews/8477683/mum-charged-with-leaving-baby-on-roof-of-car

tonton is probably a very good friend with david lampitt or another name for that dave boyle. The first article sure shows up Supporters Direct in an unhelpful light. I almost get the impression that they have been caught out because they didn't do their homework properly and just relied ontalking to some "good chaps" like dave boyle. Now I am probably very wrong and don't read things the way I am supposed to but as I have got older Football and many of its ancillary groups just seem to me to try and get more and more money out of ordinary people.

Time for TB to call everyone elses bluff and announce he has no other choice but to liquidate them on Friday 8th. Then see what happens.
-
Perhaps TB could try and set an example to those players who won't give up their legal rights by working for free himself. That might get the players to play for free instead of getting all their money and therfore save the club.? Yeah Right and pigs will fly towards the sun and everyone will get free roast pork.

Just read this below on another Forum. Be very careful about being given "free" stuff in shops. Quotes:- "Whilst Indonesia and Thailand are beautiful places. I personally will give them a wide berth. In Thailand the problem isn't drugging up your bags its some duty free shops in cahoots with the airport cops that set you up for an arrest by accusing you of "stealing". "They've stopped that scam now - too much exposure and King Power trying to keep a much lower profile these days." "Yep at Suvarnabhumi and Phuket that is true - but be aware of Songkhla (Hat Yai) and Chiang Mai whenever the shops are really crowded with Western tourists. NEVER accept anything appearing to be a freebie into your bag even if it appears to be fully genuine. Watch everything they quickly shove in your bag hoping you won't notice - if you didn't buy it you dump it! Songkhla though isn't greedy - they only asked for 200 bucks US during the last event I heard of which occurred in Feb". "I can understand Hat Yai & BKK...but CMA was surprising - they're a nicer breed up North. From what I know its a cop thing not a DF thing - the girls get a slice of the take after the cops pocket theirs (about 20% I was told). Some of the staff readily agree to the scam while others need coercing using peer pressure. I'm lucky as I do frequent many of those DF boozeries and get to know some of the girls - and usually I leave a good tip for 'em - so I've never been targetted. And yes the incidences have reduced and what remains is pocket change but its best to always be on guard nonetheless."

Just spent a while reading the comments on that http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk...ker_Rodriguez/ link and also some other stories. I thought us and pompey disliked each other but boy don't Burnley and Blackburn hate each other.

Please would someone enlighten this dim old person. Assuming Chanrai does indeed get to be named as the legal owner of fratton park who will buy it when it is surrounded by land NOT owned by him? Access will then still be very limited and the total area surely not big enough for a supermarket and parking etc?

The only point I can argue with you is the message that you put at the end of every post you make. "God bless HMRC" really gets on my nerves - sorry Truckasaurus.

Chapel I have even more years than you and I agree 100%. I wasn't really trying to make a political point per se I just wanted to try and wind up the tories on here Looks like I failed again then

Sorry but I thought Carrick himself had decided not to play Internationals so he wasn't even considered because of this??

That's ok then dune eh, good job it wasn't stealing by this Tory :- Baroness Warsi The co-chair of the Conservative Party, Baroness Warsi, has admitted not fully declaring rental income from a flat she owns in west London. It has emerged she failed to declare the income for around 15 months, from January 2011 until May 2012. Party sources have not revealed the full amount she earned, but they say it is over the £5,000 annual limit before full disclosure is required. Baroness Warsi said she took full responsibilty for the "oversight". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18223324

Some American veterans are not very happy either:- The F 35 Joint Strike Fighter, meant to be sold to our allies and the basis of our air power for the next 4 decades, not only has unrepairable defects in avionics but is really “4th generation,” not “5th generation. We spent $1.3 trillion dollars for a “flying garbage truck” that is years late and highly susceptible to, not only air defense systems but can be outmaneuvered by 30 year old planes. This is, currently, the biggest defense scam in American history. A look at John McCain, the man responsible for leaving America open to foreign attack, not for the first time, will follow. The F 22, a real 5th generation fighter, available in minimal numbers as it was “killed” by John McCain for reasons that would make your blood boil, is poisoning its pilots. A temporary refit, midnight “spit and glue” will take two years. This plane was 15 years in development. Mysteriously, the Chinese have their own F 22, slightly altered but so many identical systems that it contains over $500 billion dollars of American technology, the J 20. It is ready for production and it will work, where ours don’t. Information on the illegal technology transfer, done through “that special country in the Middle East” is suppressed in our news. Spying. This represents a “clear and present danger” to the security of the United States. The Patriot 3 missile system simply doesn’t work. The basis for our “surround Russia and pretend we are trying to scare Iran” air defense system, combined with the “Iron Dome” for Israel is a dream. Tests of the system done a few months ago proved it incapable of shooting anything down other than, just maybe, one of our own F 35s. The export (degraded) version of the Russian S400 system (Turkey is buying one) is superior. Should we ask Russia if we could simply buy their system and surround them with that? Actually, we need a joint system WITH Russia and need it today. We should buy rights to produce, not the export version, but the advanced domestic version and sign a treaty as to how we will use it. This is the security of the United States we are talking about. . -
BEIJING (Reuters) - Chinese police have arrested a young couple who buried an old woman alive believing she was dead after their car hit the 68-year-old, newspapers said on Thursday, in a case which has sparked outrage over declining public morality. The couple had been at an all-night karaoke session when they hit the woman while driving in the early hours of the morning in the wealthy eastern province of Zhejiang last month, the official China Daily said. "A witness said he heard someone crying and saw an elderly woman lying on the ground near (the car)," it cited a policeman as saying. "A man and a woman got out and put the elderly woman in the car, saying they would send her to hospital." But, worried about being arrested for drunk driving and causing the accident and believing she was no longer alive, they buried her near the side of the road, the report added. However, when police later found the woman's body they discovered she was still alive when she was buried, and had then suffocated to death, the paper said. http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/world/13769729/chinese-couple-bury-woman-alive-sparking-outrage/ .
