  1. I fear it will be similar to Brighton in so far as the line up is defensive and Stoke will see this as three points for the taking if they go at us from the start. We got half lucky against Brighton. That wont be enough Saturday. I'm thinking this despite JWP assuring us we will be safe and sound come the end of the season
  2. I like the sound of the **** CV with nothing to lose option

    Redmond

You dont want him picking the ball up from deep, he loses it too much, would put us in the doggy doo straight away.
  4. Think there is a fair bit of wishful thinking on this thread. He will play exactly the same as all season, it will be cautious, drab and frustrating. He will not start with Sims so you can forget that straight away. Ditto Gabbi, Boufal may be in with a shout but dont hold your breath. If we are losing or drawing after 75 mins he will make changes. If we are one up after 60 mins he will put on a defensive player to hold what we have, this will invite Stoke to attack at every opportunity and we all know what happens when teams do that against us.
  5. This one is worse and I never thought I would be able to say that about anyone
  6. You would hope so wouldn't you !
  7. You would of loved Ted MacDougall
  8. I wonder if the manager has learnt anything from this. We go one down, he puts on attackers and we scrape a point as opposed to when we go a goal up, he puts on defensive players to try and hold on and we never do. The best form of defence is attack !
  9. judging him and the players on a game by game basis ? Umm, ok, well 2 wins out of 19 tells it’s own story so you may have to forgive your fellow supporters who aren’t quite as forgiving as yourself cos that run is, in a word, pathetic.
  10. He also said “you don’t know what you’ve got until you lose it” Aint that the truth !
  11. This is my worry unfortunately. Still hope for the best. Would like to see Sims involved, a player with genuine pace who is pretty direct.
  12. Man City losing to Wigan has really screwed up things for BT and BBC. And to think the draw fell so well with all four top teams avoiding each other
  13. Didnt he state that he wanted to be closer to his family in London as one of his reasons for leaving ? If so he does realise that China is a bloody long way from London
  14. I think the squad is no better or worse than a mid table Premier League squad so anything between 8th and 14th. It is nowhere near as good as the squads that Pochettino and Koeman had and the fault for that lies solely with those who run the club.
  15. Nope of course it isn't fair but apparently nobody in authority seems to care.
  16. Pochettino as manager with the players being Le Tissier Van Djyk Steve Williams Channon McCarthy Cedric, Van Dyjk, Hoedt, Bertrand Lemina, Williams, Romeu Le Tissier, Channon, Austin
  17. I expect it’s already been picked as the tv bods would have assumed City would beat Wigan

    Redmond

If Redmond is vital to our survival then we are ****ed.

    Redmond

yep, he was on a hiding to nothing from that point on, especially when it became obvious that he will never be a striker.
  20. On the plus side by the time we go to Swansea for the rearranged league match they might be safe and not care :-D
  21. still at least a month away
  22. ive been waiting all fkin season for them to play well, I’m just wondering why anyone would want Redmond to be a regular again when he’s ****e
  23. as Boufal is injured that’s no surprise. I mean the alternative is Gabbiadini which would mean two up front and we can’t be having that. Big game for Redmond, if he’s ****e today we may not see him start another game this season
