To be honest if Sky still want to show the game then because of the scheduling of other matches for TV it might not even be played that weekend, could end up a midweek game during the week of 8th May ? im pretty sure Sky and BT cannot show Prem matches at the same time and Sky have another game scheduled for Saturday 30th as do BT, one at lunchtime and one at 5.30.

To answer your question seriously I dont believe he was our most overrated player ever. To me he looked quite useful, i know everyone talks about the goal against Derby as his finest moment but I remember his contribution against Barnsley the same season. Then he got injured, dropped out of favour and that was that. Who knows what might have happened but for that injury. Shame really.

It was the AGM after Lowe had come back to replace Wilde and co.and we had those two Dutch coaches in charge, for want of a better word. Crouch, McMenemy and many supporters all fired questions at Lowe that as per were just butted back with floaty non commital answers except for as many digs as he could get in at the Wilde regime. Incredibly some shareholders were still supportive of Lowe but it got to a point, and I can't remember now for the life of me what triggered it, but Crouch stood up, had a real go at Lowe, and walked out, followed by Lawrie, Mary Corbett and many others leaving just a few shareholders left. Cant remember what happened next exactly, I do recall many of the staff at the time coming up to Crouch and Lawrie almost pleading with them to do something to get Lowe out once and for all. Bad bad days, will be amazed if it's not in the book in some form. I have a feeling it was at the time Lowe replaced a picture of the cup winning team in the boardroom with a picture of a train, I know that ****ed off Lawrie big time.

Couldnt agree more. Can never understand people who slag him off, as you say comes across as a thoroughly decent man as well. Be be interesting if he says much about Lowe, I well remember Lowe's last ever AGM where Lawrie, Leon Crouch, Mary Corbett et al staged a walk out half way through in disgust. Those were the days, more drama and misery than in an episode of Eastenders!!

Well you have answered your own argument there really, if ticket revenue is only 19% of total revenue - and that percentage will presumably be reduced further by the extra tv money - just knocking £50 off every season ticket wouldnt have hurt the club very much and made hardly any dent on their finances. I dont expect something for nothing, as has been said sod the beers and hot dogs, but in this climate of reducing costs for away support, which is excellent by the way, i think a clubs season ticket holders should also ALL be rewarded, not dependant on where they sit in the stadium. They must be confident Mane, Wanyama and co arent leaving cos when, or if, they do you can be sure the cry will go up "so we paid full price and STILL the players were sold" !

No I'm not and no I don't remember no Easter games in 2005. My point is, as you are probably aware, that Easter is like Christmas, traditionally a big deal for football, and to not be playing at all is just wrong. i remember playing on Good Friday then Easter Monday young fella

Adrian Heath without a shadow of a doubt. Andy Ritchie at Oldham, League Cup, mid 80's, scored equaliser which meant we had to go and play on their plastic pitch, beaten before we got on the coach. Robbie Savage for virtually every game played against us ! I also give a special mention to Billy Davies at Derby and ref Roger (hows my perm) Millford for the above mentioned Oldham match where his watch stopped and we played on unto they scored :-(
