  1. there is nothing he has said that isn't factually correct and nobody is saying RK hasn't done a great job.
  2. Whats that got to do with anything ? This guy is coming in like a Billy Big Balls trying to give the blue half of the city some great big lovely castle which is built on sand whilst Kat owns a club that is self funding, or that's the aim, and financially sound. Which would you rather have. For Everton's plans read Leeds and Pompey to name but two. the club survived before RK and will survive when he does leave, be it in the next few days or years.
  3. apparently it was confirmed as done at 7.34 this evening by a bunch of Scousers on Whats App !!!
  4. there hasn't been anything convincing since this all blew up 24hrs ago.
  5. nobody, but the point is if he wants a top job, Arsenal, Barcelona, Holland to name but three, one of which is almost certain to come up in the next year or two, why would he tie himself down in a new job now where he could easily damage his reputation as opposed to stay at a club where he has progressed for the past two years. the move to an Everton makes no sense when you can sit tight, enhance your reputation then take a top job with your stock as high as a kite ?
  6. Thankyou fir for your considered response, the point of which has obviously flown straight over the top of your head, simpleton !
  7. He hasn't gone so far
  8. Ok so just playing along for a second.....ignoring his record of honouring contracts and assuming he would be allowed to go because he won't extend his deal..... he goes to Everton, next summer Wenger steps down and Arsenal want Koeman who is one year into a three year deal at Goodison. What happens next ?
  9. He didn't have to wait long for that to happen then did he ?
  10. yes i seem to recall he referred to it as a bonus fee coming into the club, probably because he knew he had Clyne so it was a lot of money for a reserve.
  11. Is Chambers a better right back than Cedric ?
  12. Nivea Boy off at half time. Was he that bad again ?
  13. I too hope the club strike a deal the same as with Morgan and Victor if he wont sign a new deal. I'm sure Les, Ron and co have discussed it. we are in the driving seat on this one because he has two years left. Liverpool will find it hard to recruit not being in Europe, they might try to trade on their name but a lot of the players they would want were either not born or babies when they last won the league.
  14. I'm taking all this as very positive. The club must be confident he's going to sign otherwise posting that video and all the other signposts they have set up over the past few days is going to make them look bloody stupid if he doesn't.
  15. that would be in the privacy of every press conference he has given for the past few months where he has stated time and time and time again he will be manager of Southampton next season then
  16. Is the guy not entitled to a couple of weeks holiday ? Nobody knows if they did or didnt agree a deal before he went and the paperwork is being drawn up ready for him to sign upon his return. If the club and Ronald are both happy, both know the situation, then why should he fly back from his holiday to sign a contract extension ? Of course we all hoped for an announcement before he went away but that hasn't happened. Its niether good news or bad news, we just dont know at this point.
  17. I just wonder how much of this has its roots in our mid season slump as Guan recounted the events around that time. Has anybody actually come out since about 8.15 last night when we were automatically put into the Europa Cup Group Stages and stated they want to leave for a Champions League team ? That worked out really well last season for Morgan didn't it ? We are guaranteed 6 matches in a European Comp. At the moment, in England, only Man Utd, Arsenal, Leicester and Man City (I think) can share that boast, everyone else has qualifying rounds to go through. 4 may, or may not after the past week or so, want to leave (not counting Juanmi) but with two of them having two years left on their contracts the chances of all of them going UNLESS the club have better replacements coming in is pretty slim I would think......or hope
  18. He has two years left on his contract doesn't he ? Unless someone comes in with big big money he won't have a choice, he'll be staying.
  19. Maybe they have had the discussions, he is happy with the ambition and the nitty gritty of the contract will be sorted when he comes back. His agent would be present for the actual contract negotiations wouldn't he ? Perhaps he couldn't make it - busy with De Boer at Everton? We just dont know, thats my hopeful take on it
  20. agree, on BT if that's the standard of their coverage and expert summary I'm glad I don't subscribe to them. Free to air they had a real chance to attract new subscribers, they blew that as spectacularly as the Scousers on the pitch.
  21. Take him on his own and not with a couple of his friends ! Tuesday night we had six brats, and i use that word deliberately, in two groups of three in the two rows directly in front and they spent the whole game mucking about, throwing paper planes (yes seriously) and generally being complete nightmares who hardly noticed that big green pitch thing in front of them. Mother and father just sat there taking no notice whatsoever and let them do whatever they wanted.
  22. Fatigue ? He gave them all the day off Sunday so they haven't played for a week. No what's done them is old Clippety thought they had this won at half time whilst Sevilla couldn't be that bad for another 45 mins. Bloody hilarious, no European football for them
  23. 3-1  This will affect their ability to sign anyone decent this summer, no European football at all if it stays like this. Hope Adz and Clyney enjoy watching us on a Thursday evening Oh Nivea boy off as well, this is getting better and better....
  24. yep and he will be German ;-)
