    Puel

bloody hell you are augmentative aren't you ? ok it's Les Reed's fault that Long was ****e yesterday. There. Better ?
  2. Of course the fact shes head of a multi million pound company that has nothing to do with Southampton FC might be linked with her meeting with the Chinese
  3. Even by the standards whereby we are usually ****ed over by bad decisions over the years this one was a little bit special

    Puel

I agree, i was a lot more encouraged after yesterday, even the interview clip on MOTD seemed better as he gets to grips with the language etc. No manager can legislate for an international striker having what can only be described as a nightmare in front of goal, i mean honestly Shane, FFS !!
  5. if that penalty had gone to us MOTD would have been all over it tonight. As it is I suspect it will barely get a mention !
  6. has he played twice for Denmark in the last week ? maybe he wants him fresh for Thursday and next Sunday ?
  7. oh FFS, calm down dear, you honestly think that if they dont win against Arsenal or Swansea (most likely) that people wont start to get restless ? Of course the players will, dont be so bloody naieve, they have been playing a system that has suited them and got results and now all of a sudden thats been thrown out the window.... I'm just asking the question about Kelvin, did you miss the bloody question mark? - he is liason between players and management yes ? Therefore it would be correct to say that IF there is unrest from the playing staff he would be the one to raise the subject with Les and co ? sorry for fkin speaking on a forum Mr trousers
  8. If they dont win a match soon the negative grumblings will get louder and louder, not just from players but supporters as well. Presumably Kelvin in his new role is the man who will go to the board with the loaded gun if player unrest gets too bad ?
  9. you missed the laughing thingy at the start of my reply then
  10. Every time I read about refs being corrupt or being influenced by outside interests my mind goes back to a match against Leeds at St Mary's in our Division 1 days. We won the game 1-0 but the referee that day - Peter Walton - was an absolute disgrace. He was beyond bad, the worst refereeing I have seen in 40 years of watching Southampton. We only won because Leeds were so inept that day they couldn't take advantage of some of his decisions.
  11. Yeah right.......Redmond is a winger, a decent winger, he ain't a striker no matter what Puel says !
  12. Couldnt agree more. To me his head is still firmly wrapped up in Portugal's success this summer, its all he seems to message about these days. Dont get me wrong, its understandable, its probably the biggest thing he or many footballers will ever achieve but Jose you are captain of a premier league club, could you give it a bit of attention at some point please ?
  13. Wow, never saw that coming ! good on him tho
  14. Just turned on Sky Sports and there is the snivelling little ****e climbing up the ass of Sam Allardyce now ! No wonder he has to use that Nivea face creme so much !!!!
  15. I think we will finish 13th. Man City will win it, Burnley, Bournemouth & Hull despite their start will go down.
  16. I agree with all these points. I get the argument about replacing the players we lost on a one for one basis BUT we are in Europe, it may not happen again for a few years. I honestly believed the club would not just replace those who left but ADD to the squad in order for us to compete in Europe on a Thursday night then compete in the League on a Sunday afternoon. Are the back up players good enough to step in if a regular first teamer gets injured or is too tired for the Thursday/Sunday run of games ? In some positions yes, but in some - centre of defence being the most obvious - no. I think the club have missed a trick here. Even a couple of season long loans could have made the difference. I fear we will go out of the Europa League in the group stage where a little more quality could have seen us through. Obviously I hope I'm wrong but I can see the same fate that has befallen nearly every smaller club that has gotten into the Europa League in the past few seasons befalling us as well, in other words 10-15th in the league and no cup run to speak of in Europe, League Cup or FA Cup. I'm prepared for a very average season, that way I can only be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be good. As for the manager - do I wish we still had Koeman ? Yes I do.
  17. totally agree. Redmond will not be a Henry in a million years, the guy is a winger, plain and simple. If I'm wrong and in two or three years he is scoring 25 goals a season for Liverpool feel free to dig this up and point out the error of my ways in disagreeing with Puel.
  18. Defender light, striker light, underwhelmed
  19. And there we have it, I will be amazed if this is wrong :-(
  20. Get Boufal or not we still need a striker to put the ball in the back of the net, that's the main issue !
  21. "Southampton have it all to do to get anything out of this game" is the one that really annoys me
  22. The fans look as if they are in a different postcode to the pitch, that's horrendous, still that's what you get for free I suppose
  23. I think he's right to be honest.
  24. No problem with Puel and Long blanking each other, I don't want to see happy clappy shakes hands, big smiles when someone comes off and we are losing.
  25. i was told off last week for pointing out similar, he's a goal poacher, he ain't poaching much out there ffs.
