I think a lot of the problem is that Puel started talking about doing with Redmond what he did with Henry. Thats a hell of a comparison for anyone to have let along a young guy who has played most if not all his career as a winger. It immediately raises expectations amongst supporters.
I still maintain he will not make a striker or to put it another way, someone who can play through the middle of a three. Out wide cutting in or getting to the bye line then yes, he looks a good prospect.
But Puel is the coach and knows better than me so it is what it is, lets hope the plan with Redmond comes off.
