He had an ankle op a couple of weeks ago. What are you talking about ?
-
We have two weeks to make a couple of good signings before the next league game. FFS dont wait until 31 january, esp with Lambert out.
-
Must be injured the way he has played in the last two games. Would have been on the bench at least otherwise.
-
Not at all, Tarrico thought he was pretty good against us too hence the gesture to Lallana and Chaplow about having them in his pocket !
-
The reason signings, if possible, should be made in the next 2 weeks so that they are available for the Forest game and the two probably crucial home games at the end of January.

They have made no secret of the fact they HAVE to get promotion this year or next before the parachute money dries up. Sam has made no secret of the fact he expects to get the sack if he cant get them promoted in 2 seasons. They consider themselves a big fish and think players everywhere will be falling over themselves to join them. Wether Sam will select them if they go there is another matter however. I would look at the goals they have conceeded lately before going out and getting attacking players if I was fat Sam.

You may say he's a poacher, But he's not the only one. I hope some day Lee and Rickie, Will make Southampton number one :-)

Exactly :-)

It worked for John and Yoko

Lukas Jutkiewicz.... is he worth signing?

No, YOU seem to be of the opinion that Lambert will be leaving. -
Yeah, and they haven't really taken to Big Sam have they !
-
But as there is NO indication of that happening whatsoever there is no question for the club to answer is there ?

Saints 0 Bristol City 1 - Post Match Reactions
beatlesaint replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
That is a disgusting statement quite frankly. -
I would think Fonte will play with an injection on Monday like he has in the last few games then leave him out of the cup game and he has a 2 week rest as we dont play again in the league until 15 January.

I think the problem is two fold. In the past month we have hit a bad patch. I thought the way we played against Palace we had come through it. Hard to judge on last night's performance really. The second thing is that teams have clearly worked out how to play against us, how to close us down, where to attack us etc and the big test I think will be in the second half of the season wether we have a Plan B. If we have we will be fine and be in the play offs at least. If we haven't the top 6 will be touch and go and we could easily miss out. Big test for NA, the coaches and players but with one or two additions and the ability to mix it up a bit I remain confident we will have a good 2012.

Luke Shaw featured in today's Independent
beatlesaint replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Absolutely.......add to that the fact they turned down our request to sign Lansbury on loan because we played hardball over Alex and they got all upset with NC I would think the chances of them doing business with us in the near future is pretty slight. I assume Shaw is in the same situation as Walcott was in so far as he can refuse to sign for us in July and therefore force NC's hand. -
The official unofficial January transfer targets thread..

So as of today thats deals for Rodriguez, Billy Sharp and Nicky Maynard all sorted and done deals. Have I missed anyone ? Bet we dont sign any of them :-) -
Happy New Year
-
Only joined Reading in the summer. We missed out there, he only cost them about £1 million and has scored goals for them this season.
-
You are correct but as it doesn't say anything like "Lambert was carried away with blood streaming from his face" or "Lambert and his family ran riot and threatened elderly couples out for a quiet drink" you can safely say there is nothing to it if that is the best they can do !
-
Very good
-
So in other words some knob head thought they would have a go at Lambert, came at him with a pool cue, Rickie defended himself, end of story (hopefully) otherwise PC Plod would have been on the scene last night and not this morning.
-
Oh there is absolutely no point letting the story come out in full, let alone the truth when there is mass hysteria to be played out.
-
Dont forget the "Hope You Die Soon" fanzine front cover or have Blackburn fans done worse yet ?
-
I think it will be a good run out and chance for the new signings to blend into the team in a non League game situation :-)
