  1. Well they suddenly did it because we need a proven scroer at this level to play alongside Rickie. Lee will not aclimatise straight away. I firmly believe that Lee is a signing more for next season than this. Just think about how long De Ridder was given to bed into the squad and the style of play in England. And he played in Europe, not the J league. Put that little voice to bed, its evil and will hurt you ;-)
  2. Personally I think if peace had broken out between NC and Puncheon a week earlier we wouldn't have bothered with Falque. I also believe the signing of Sharp means that Lee will be given the rest of this season, barring any injuries to Rickie and Billy (that sounds good), to get aclimatised etc. If you think about it Adkins has given De Ridder about 5 months to get used to the English game and he only came from Belgium !! So I would expect to see Lee as an irregular sub depending on who else he wants on the bench. As has been said this 5 sub rule has done us no favours really.
  3. Excellent.....now if we could only get a centre half.......
  4. Signed too late surely.
  5. Brilliant.
  6. As he isnt cup tied I would think his home debut will be next Tuesday against Millwall.
  7. I am awaiting Jordan Sibley tweeting confirmation that I should be heading over to the OS for a bit of sharp transfer news !
  8. They are waiting for Solent's Adam Blackmore to get there !!!
  9. 6.30 I reckon !
  10. No, it means you win £40 :-)
  11. I assume the alternatives now that Collins deal has gone by the way would be centre halves rather than attacking midfielders.
  12. Not cup tied either. :-)
  13. She wrote a long letter on a short piece of paper. or Every verse from Across The Universe - beautiful poetry and imagery.
  14. totally agree, someone with the pace to break away, we aren't a speedy team by any stretch of the imagination.
  15. Its quite unlikely there will be a last day rush either bearing in mind there is a full programme in the Championship and half the premier league teams playing. I cant remeber a window closing on a big matchday before.
  16. I sincerely hope that every jury member can work out that Redknapp is playing them for mugs. Are they seriously expected to believe that a man of his age has never written a letter in his life, cant spell, writes like a two year old, has never sent an e mail or text message and as a football manager for over 20 years cannot fill out a team sheet properly. Absolute bull****.
  17. Not been invited to one yet then ? Isn't he allowed to eat dinner now then ffs ? I would think answering fans questions whilst having your evening meal is using that time very wisely actually ;-)
  18. He wont play then, they took their time with Papa and Guly, and they came from another European country.
  19. Not according to a tweet from the man himself who said he should be back ASAP.
  20. Yes I do. I dont think many fans have seen enough of him, thats partly the trouble. Not always easy to come on and make an impact. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. If he gets a run of games in the first team then jodge him, not on the odd 30 mins here and there.
  21. About half time.....whoever came up with that ridiculous game of boy and ball versus crowd and blow up ball should be bloody sacked. What a ridiculous idea. Go back to the kids relay races, they were good, at least it would have brightened last night up a bit :-)
  22. You will get crucified for mentioning Adam Hammill on here, although I agree with you, he is proven in the league and my Barnsley supporting mate often says he was by far and away their best player. Be useful cover if we could get him on loan.
  23. He needs a decent run in the team, not just 30 mins here, a game there then another 15 min appearence. No coincidence that his best two games for us were in back to back matches and its a shame he got an injury cos he could have played about 6 games in a row by now and then its easier to judge him. I think he has the potential to be good, but NA doesn't seem to trust him.
  24. Totally agree, next Tuesday against Cardiff is the crucial game to keep that gap between automatic promotion and play-offs to about 4 or 5 points.
  25. If you go back to my original post I said Falque to play on the left or failing that move Fox up and play Harding. Its not an obsession with playing full backs in midfield, its simply called an option...thats O P T I O N, ok ?
