  1. Walking away from Selhurst Park after seeing an away performance that convinced me we wouldn't blow promotion, especially after the disapointment of the skates equalizing so late on two day earlier. Then the third against Coventry. I felt pretty good after the second but the third took me to a whole new level
  2. He is the only midfield player we have who makes regular attacking runs into the box or out wide. He will not be leaving, and niether should he.
  3. I assume that since that day we have won more League matches than any other team in English football
  4. Season Tickets on sale 6 June New Kit 1 July seems pretty quick to me, sepecially given the season starts later than usual.
  5. Thats about right. They dont send it down on Saturday cos they didn't think we would hold on to second place and now its a case of "well you make your own arrangements" ****s.
  6. Oh no, poor old Harry, my heart bleeds Cant wait for him to have to come to St Marys next season !!
  7. Going by their tweets it seems a few of the players have gone out today for round two, Jos being one of them. Perhaps he's a bit lightweight, feels a bit fragile and doesnt want to let on to the others and as a result isnt in the mood to be "friendly" to a group of excitable young ladies !!!
  8. I expect Cortese half jokingly told them they could have another trip back there if they got promoted this season too
  9. Some people like the attention that negatives raise in amongst all the positivity. Would have been nice to have had a week or so of people being happy.
  10. I suppose Markus's daughter was at the game yesterday to underline the families lack of interest and to plant a "For Sale" sign outside the ground was she ?
  11. West Ham Home West Ham Away Peterborough Away Without the first two we would be "looking forward" to the play offs - simple as that. The third because of the way the players bounced back after the Reading game which ultimately was very important cos it was also the night West Ham failed to win at Bristol City.
  12. He was probably emotionally drained, he was talking about himself which he rarely does. Honestly I cant see anything like what some are suggesting on here. He clearly states "somewhere down the line". He might as well have said we all die at some point cos he aint gonna be here when he's 80 is he ?
  13. According to my old man (not always totally reliable ) he reckoned it came up on the big screens that season tickets would be on sale from 6 June. and as you can see Itchen Dan beat me to it by 10 seconds
  14. Bet he tells them all now that he is a Premiership goalkeeper
  15. I hope the big man was looking down on us today and that we all made him proud. Never to be forgotten.
  16. Havent watched it all yet, just picked out the goals etc. Did they mention the fantastic reception Gordon Strachan got today as he walked round the pitch ?
  17. The greatest achievement for me this season is that we were in the top two for the entire season. That in itself is remarkable.
  18. Seem a decent set of fans to be fair......certainly classier than the hammers.
  19. Probably got something to do with his tweeting his congratulations to us for going up ! Presumably that would mean we are also signing Gary Lineker and Lord Sugar
  20. She could end up marrying Rickie Lambert or Billy Sharp if they score during the vows then ! :-)
  21. Have a great day......for both reasons
  22. Recorded it, fast forwarded to the bit on us, deleted it, 2 mins I will never get back but it did remind me why I havent watched Meridian Tonight for the last 6 or 7 years and while I probably wont for the next 6 or 7 years..........except maybe Monday if we win tomorrow, just to see Fred squirm !!
  23. We are just getting into the relms of fantasy now aren't we ?
  24. We are desperate for something to worry about on here aren't we ? Whats next ? The Hotdog seller is out of ketchup...ketchup is red......we play in red......we're doomed, doomed
  25. I think its knowing that the PL isnt the be all and end all of football. Having spent the 27 years unbroken in the top division I think we fell into the trap most supporters of the so called big teams do, and that is everything else is crap. Well it aint. In the past three seasons we have had real football fans come to St Marys, we have played some "interesting" teams for various reasons and most of all we have seen our team win a hell of a lot of games. I am desperate for us to win Saturday and go up. But I tell you what, if it only lasted for a season there would be no tears and feeling of doom and gloom from me like there was in 2005 cos there is no fear of life outside the plastic Premiership anymore.
