FFS its not like they havent known the bloody season starts mid August, they've even had a weeks grace by being away first. Having watched that train wreck of a defence for the first and third goals on MOTD I fear for this season even more. The clean sheets in pre-season arent worth jack shit. Whilst Salisu and Stephens were at fault for those two goals this once again highlights for me the fact defenders are getting confused by having a different keeper behind them every other week. For that first goal surely Forster steps forward and claims the balll, for the second surely Forster is shouting at Stepehns to wake the fuck up? So yes the defenders were at fault but Ralph is giving them the un-needed problem of playing in front of two very different keepers and thats just plain bloody crazy. If he has settled on one and its the clown from yesterday then thats another blatant error Ralph.

Has Ralph revealed the master plan in leaving KWP and Stuart Armstrong out? Im hoping not 100% fit, anything else is just ridiculous

Yeah if you’ve got a shite defence Eddie Howe isn’t gonna sort it out, one look at Bournemouth’s goals against column while in the Premier will show that.

Lampard wouldn’t come here, he’s one of those managers who will want money to spend, especially given he needs to re-establish himself after getting the sack at Chelsea. Howe would be the obvious choice - he wouldn’t have to move away from Poole which seems to loom large, and he’s used to penny pinching. I’m not sure I would want him, he’s another stubborn bugger who has his favourites and no plan B.

I think turning our nose up at current Liverpool and to a slighlty lesser degree Spurs defenders, given our bloody rabble, is a bit ironic and mis-placed tbh I mean if you havent worked out that we are hardly in the position to pick and choose what we get by now then you really are supporting the wrong club.

This and Man Utd home next week are the worst (or best given we always start slowly) two fixtures we could have had. We could play like world beaters in both games yet somehow Everton/United will find a way to beat us or stop us winning no matter how lucky they get.
