Jesus this has been virtually impossible to access for the last hour then it suddenly opens the door slightly and lets you in. I can’t understand why there are the two errors, the 502 Bad Gateway one and the 504 one. The server hosts really need to get there fingers out and find a solution, it’s their bloody issue not Steve’s. I’m close to calling it quits but the Ugly Inside forum is shite.

Its called selective sexism or racism. Everybody is so busy running around desperate not to look homophobic, racist or sexist that giving a job to the best qualified has gone out the window. They just are intent on ticking boxes. What Sky have done with Thompson and Nicholas is ageist, they can dress it up as "freshening up" but if thats the case why keep Merson, the bloke is a tit. Agree. They should certainly do something whilst attendance numbers are controlled by social distancing etc. I can’t understand how they can show every match at the end of one season then, under the same contracts with broadcasters revert to normal when the only difference will be about 20% of a regular attendance will be in the ground....and even that won’t be from Day 1 on 12 Sept. I see Brighton are looking to be the first to trial a game with supporters back. They are like the over keen kid in the classroom, they’ve been extremely vocal since talk of going back in June.

Quite right, I would rather the club be skint for a season after losing out on that nice Chinese money and not have the resources to buy anyone else or negotiate improved contracts for players. 🙄 It is a years agreement. We have been fortunate enough to find someone who has dug us out of a financial hole. Had it not been for the pandemic we may have been able to take our time and pick and choose. Its not that world anymore.

The only way I can think is to announce a new shirt sponsor with just a single “this replaces the previous agreement with LD Sports” at the bottom of the press release.

Why ? Its not just stumping up the money for buying the club. Funds are then needed to invest otherwise you are left with a situation....well, like we are now with Gao. Sounds just about right for a club of our size.
