  1. England's tail wagging, Saints getting a new owner. I'll wake up soon... Swann & Monty are going to have a field day on this wicket, may as well open with them in tandem.
  2. What makes you think that?

Barfy74 for me. I've not played online much lately as I've recently downloaded FF7 and got hooked again! If I am online it's usually COD4 or 5 or more likely Killzone 2. Out of interest, what are the new map packs like for COD5? worth stumping up for?
  4. In which case, someone please, for the love of god, get this takeover sorted ASAP!
  5. Crouchie's Lawyer is the one to ask here, but if I remember correctly, if they haven't got a copy of the signed loan agreement, there is a technical breach of the law which could result in the agreement being cancelled. As I say though, try and attract the attention of Crouchie's Lawyer (if that's what he's still called...)
  6. Looks to be American based
  7. It's Friday by the way...
  8. Also a director of: Abercrombie Fitch & Wild Ltd Matrix Integrated Financial Solutions Ltd Storm Bluetooth Marketing Ltd Gillico have no accounts filed at companies house as they were only incorporated on 1st April 2009...
  9. I thought cod4 & 5 single player on the PS3 were both excellent (not quite Killzone 2 mind you), but cod5 multiplayer was shocking in comparison to cod4, too many glitches and network problems ended my interest in it pretty quickly. Who's got the best pre-order deals on Modern Warfare 2? I might start making plans for a few wasted weekends!
  10. Also got to be one of the highlights for me. IIRC we were 1-0 down at half time, then MLT scored an absolutely sublime hat-trick, I can never decide whether the lob, or him taking the ball past most of the Norwich team was the best... Wasn't it also Kevin Moore who scored a 35 yard screamer that night too?
  11. Closely followed by the one where Bart buys SMS for $1 at a bankruptcy auction?
  12. Had loads of strawberries & raspberries over the past few weeks. Same with radishes, lettuces (cos & iceberg), wild rocket & coriander. Rooster potatoes and pink fir apples blooming at the moment. Parsnips, sprouts, beetroot, swede, onions, garlic, cauliflower, celeriac, leeks, spring onions, horseradish and sweetcorn all doing very nicely too. Looks like we might be in for a bumper crop of tomatoes too, plenty of flowers on the 4 or 5 different variety plants (green tomato chutney again this year...). The fig, blueberry and grape vine all seem to be doing well, but there's still plenty of time for the snails to find them  My rhubarb isn't doing so well, anyone got suggestions how to help it along? And I've just had to pull out all of my carrots due to carrot fly infestation, they were just starting to get to a good edible size too planning to plant some more, but surround with fleece this time. We're also surrounded by blackberries, so will try and pick a few kilos of those again this year to make some wine, possibly with some of the neighbour's damsens. Made some blackberry wine a few years ago, wasn't too alcoholic, but slightly sparkling and very refreshing when well chilled. And to think, I'd never really got into gardnening before this year...
  13. 1) As far as I can tell, there's only been the deadlines for paying staff and the exclusivity. Everything else seems to have been implied from Messages from Tony Lynam, 2) He may or may not be the only money man. 3) Whoever is funding this would have to had passed due diligence. BT would be failing their clients had they not done this, and would suffer the consequences. 4) Pinnacle do not need to move aside. Mark Fry can talk to whoever he likes, and enter a new period of exclusivity, unfortunately there does not appear to be evidence of new groupls banging on the doors of SMS
  14. Nothing has been disclosed though, except what Tony Lynam has wanted to reveal. BT were not responsible for sorting out matters with the football league. They are acting on behalf of the creditors to recover monies owing to them, they are not running the company/club merely ensuring that it is stil a going concern to sell. The issues with the FL were always going to be the responsibilities of the prospective new owners, and it is up to those parties how they want to deal with the FL, not BT. Begbies Traynor have not acted improperly in any way. Had they done so, Aviva and Barclays would have acted to resolve the situation before now.
  15. That told him. If only someone had thought of this approach sooner.
  16. A consortium would be classed as one party, thus one backer. Or is that theory too conspiratorial even for this forum?
  17. There is nothing stopping someone else having a go. Mark Fry is able to speak to other interested parties if they approach him
  18. Reading between the lines, I reckon what Mr Lynam is tryng to say is: "stop bellyaching, when there is some real facts that we can release into the public domain we'll tell you" But like everyone else does he deleted the blunt message, and wrote something a lot longer and more diplomatic.
  19. I could do with some cake right now, only had rich tea to go with my coffee this morning
  20. Their job is to maintain the company as a going concern in order to sell it to satisfy the creditors. If we have a football club next season and satisfied (in the legal sense) creditors, then they will have done their job. If they can't sell it, then they will liquidate the assets and distribute the proceeds according to the relevant legislation. Their fee is dependent on how long this process takes, and is not dictated by them, but rather how much money is available to the company in order to keep running during administration, and whether anyone is interested in, and can complete a satisfactory purchase of the company. Unfortunately, you, like a lot of others it seems think that B-T are working for the pure benefit of the fans, and that this entire process should be conducted on this forum rather than in a professional corporate manner.
  21. How has it been a total farce? Begbies Traynor act on behalf of the creditors, not the fans.
  22. There's a number of reasons that I don't think Flintoff should be a dead cert for the starting XI: 1) If he isn't fully fit & breaks down in the middle of a test, we're screwed, and 2) possibly more importantly, he hasn't actually played that well since 2005, especially with the bat (rather important for an all-rounder). tbh Stuart Broad's recent performances make me think he could almost fill an all-rounder spot in the team! As long as he doesn't lose focus on his bowling.
  23. Probably too late now, but I use tunebite which is also pretty useful for converting audio and video files into different formats: http://tunebite.com/en/audio_video_drm_copy_protection/index.html
