  1. Bertrand's a Champions League winner so that's the obvious one, but he's been injured so I can't see the story regarding him. Lemina perhaps, he's played in the UCL final. Or Cedric, who's dropped out of the team entirely. Anyhow, great news that the players are being put in their place. I had hoped that a strong character like Hughes would have done so but clearly the opposite occurred.
  2. At home it's Man Utd. Only beaten them once at St Mary's in 14 matches against them.
  3. He's the first manager in Premier League history to concede 6+ goals in a game with three different teams. I bet Everton fans don't mention that in their long history of firsts.
  4. He is, but he's our bellend. Every team needs a tosser.
  5. Can't see Silva getting another job in English football. Three chances and three failures.
  6. I thought the police had found a damaged drone? This entire story is just odd.
  7. Not a good weekend for Heisenberg
  8. He has no patience for many of our mediocre players, and I like that a lot. Hopefully he can engineer a mass clearout that should've been done a while ago.
  9. I want teams like Leeds and Villa in the Prem anyway. Better than boring teams like Burnley and Huddersfield.
  10. And every single player he's ever worked with hates him and think he's a poor manager of course. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11700/10875900/eden-hazard-insists-claude-puel-is-one-of-the-top-managers-amid-southampton-sack-reports
  11. Should be a good game this. Only worry is defensively we still look a little shaky and West Ham have goals in them.
  12. Looks like it. They'll make the top 6 for sure, I still think there are stronger teams than them, or teams with stronger squads at least.
  13. The recruitment has been terrible. A competent manager plus terrible recruitment got us to 8th, but two poor managers plus poor recruitment is a recipe for disaster. Get both right and we can get back to competing regularly for European places.
  14. Fair play to them, massive game and they came out on top.
  15. Let's hope we get back to the days of us winning 3-1 all the time
  16. I guess that means Puel is getting the sack then...
  17. I am pleasantly surprised that he's had the impact that he's had. Saying that, it couldn't get much worse really.
  18. I still maintain that we don't have a particularly great squad of players, so for Hassenhutl to get this team playing like this so early is nothing short of miraculous. Dare I say world class? Happy days so far, but as others have said, clean sheet is vital.
  19. Just find it strange how he came into the team under Hughes at the end of last season, played pretty well, and then never got a look in this season. Oh well, he's back in the team and playing well again.
  20. What exactly does the job entail? Does a national team NEED a technical director?
  21. As we know, VVD is prone to injury, and when that happens (it will happen) they'll slip up. City will win the title with ease IMO. A small part of me wants Liverpool to go unbeaten because it'll **** off Arsenal fans.
  22. He'll merely be responsible for implementing the plans that Ralph puts in place. No big deal.
