I was too young to remember the ones in the nineties. The first time I remember us flirting with relegation was in 2005 and we all know how that ended. Then we survived on the last day in 2008 and that was a great feeling. This one is a great escape though, after the Chelsea game many people thought we were goners. Add to that that we've relegated Stoke, the team with the worst set of fans in the league, West Brom, who relegated us in 2005, and (possibly) Swansea, who tried every dirty trick in the book (not necessarily the club, but certainly the city). I will let those older than me judge whether or not this is the best ever or not.

Seven points from our last three games, after the Chelsea game we were down and out. Remarkable turn around in form, so yes he has done very well. Also, credit to the players, who I have criticised and rightly so, but they stepped up their efforts too, so fair play to them.

Another thing - I would have hoped that, if we still needed a result, that we would refuse to give Man City a guard of honour (we did something similar at Brighton in league 1 which annoyed them), but, it's probably best that we do give them one and butter them up slightly. Maybe we can put up banners at the Hilton "welcome Man City", make sure they feel nice and welcome down here. The complete opposite to what Swansea did

I still think you're wrong because we beat Leicester 3-0 and they had finished 1st the season before... Incidentally, and on a related note ish, it was revealed today that the Premier League purposely ensures the top six teams avoid each other on the first and final days. However, the TV deal stipulates that there must be at least one fixture where two of the top eight teams face each other (calculated over an average of three seasons, so for this season, the other two teams were us and Leicester. Next season it'll be Leicester and Everton). Anyhow, that rule ensured that both ourselves and Leicester would face one of the bigger teams on the final day (we have Man City, they have Tottenham).

9 goal swing needed, in effect 10 because we've score more goals than Swansea too. So 9-0 defeat and 1-0 win for Swansea, or 8-0 and 2-0, 7-0 or 3-0, 6-0 and 4-0, 5-0 and 5-0, you can do the rest. But, if Huddersfield lose both of their games, then we'll be safe whatever happens.

Let them get a 1-0 to take them to 100 points and just pass the ball for the rest of the match. Hopefully, Huddersfield lose both their games and we don't have to worry about it anyway
