It would be typical of us to lose this 1-0 after this sort of dominance.

A lot of noise there. Gutted I am sat at home.

No. Simple as that. If they were struggling at the bottom, then not a problem.

........linked to Saints by Sky. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6523521,00.html Decent record at this level.

Why? How can it be so serious?

Debuts the best or most unforgetable?

I kind of remember Claus Lundekvam's debut at the Dell. I think it was a midweek cup game, and he picked the ball up on the edge of the 18 yard box (Milton road end), ran all the way to the other end and had a shot that went narrowly over. Did I dream this? Or can anyone else confirm? -
Your choice at the end of the day mate, I hope you have fun with whatever you get. Which cumbersome AV software are you going to install?

It would take me that to do my solitary pull up!

Gutted I am missing this. I genuinely think we should beat them at home, but also have a strange feeling that we won't. They seem to be one of those clubs, like Swindon that have a hold over us. Play at our best though and we should be ok, I think we need to start with a high tempo though, get the wingers attacking them hard and fast. Could turn the season in our favour if we win. Their confidence will be knocked.

I would have smashed that in my Army days. Now? Not so much. I would struggle to do 1 pull up!

Redknapp, we all hate but we all know we missed out, don't we?

Did anyone see Van Der Vaart's comment recently? He said he loves playing for twitch face because there is no tactics! Sums him up. The guy is a motivator and that is about it. People say he has a good eye for talent, not hard when you have massive transfer budgets. The places he didn't have that was here and West Ham, and he signed Barnard and Davenport for us, and loads of dross for the Hammers. He is of course the darling of the English media, which has propelled him to a status he doesn't deserve. He has won only one trophy in his long career and that was with Pompey's ill gotten gains. He is not a good manager. He is a sham, a charlatan and a fake! Spurs fans love him at the moment but we all know that if Arsenal came in for him with a bigger wage, he would be at the Emirates before you could say "disloyal" He blames every defeat and problem on everybody but himself, including publicly barracking his own players. The guy has a good reputation fashioned by the media, but if taking on an already quality Spurs squad, spending millions of pounds on it, then finishing 4th while Liverpool were on a downward spiral makes him a great manager, then I guess I have higher standards than most! -

How so? It was done with an element of tongue in cheek, but a lot of that is true.

Ooooooh something I feel really strongly about. I have worked within IT/technical communications for 12 years. So here goes...... If you are after:- Something cheap. Buy a PC. If you are after:- Something, longer lasting, better value for money, much higher performance, much more reliable, much more logical in it's operation, something that doesn't constantly crash. Buy a Mac. I have not met a single person in all those years in the IT industry that have changed from PC to Mac and been disappointed. They are simply better. Get the Macbook Pro for £900, you will never look back.

I think yesterdays performance shows we don't need a player like Puncheon around to be honest. He is too hit and miss to be a first team regular.
-
Based on the highlights from the football league show they look shaky at the back, especially from set pieces. I am fully confident that if both teams play to the best of their ability. We will win.
-
I'm not a fan of Gerrard either, but he was our only decent player against France. Capello has got to go soon though, his heart isn't in it in my opinion.
-
When it was Millwall's 125th anniversary they were the featured league 1 game, with old footage and the like. We get 20 seconds in the round up and Claridge begrudgingly saying Barnard's goal was a good finish. Disgrace.
-
To be honest after last season Lambert was always going to struggle to live up to it, plus every team we play will be focusing on him, probably freeing up some of our other players to grab the headlines. He was good today. He isn't just about goals, or otherwise he wouldn't be in the team at the moment.

So, after the Carlisle game he was pretty critical of the players, saying some would need to buck their ideas up. He also starts mentioning the names of fringe players publicly in his interviews, saying that they are knocking on the door. Subsequently Morgan is dropped to the bench, and Harding completely and Puncheon is moved on after his poor form. We then get a much improved performance Looks like he knows how to get to the players and make them tick to me. I have a very good feeling that he will get Lambert scoring again soon too.....
