I'm probably guilty of having a 'dell sized mentality' but am just happy to be 40/1 to be relegated after 6 games in. After the last few years it would be nice to have a little period of 'boring' mid-table stability, and slowly invest sensibly and see what happens.

What ho! This all sounds utterly exhausting. I barely have the time to get offended by comments made about me by people I actually care about, let alone shoulder further offence on behalf of those who I have never met. It's quite remarkable anything actually gets done in Britain today what with all this offending going on! Indeed, there are so many different 'communities' these days I suspect I may have inadvertently become a member of one without even knowing. I assume one can claim offence retrospectively? I only have anecdotal evidence, but I suspect that is all the campaign groups have also, but I really can't recall being privy to homophobic or racist exchanges at any time following Saints home and away for 20+ years. But we are told it is an urgent and pressing issue that must be tackled therefore it must be the case. “There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is generally adopted.”

Discrimination is certainly big business these days. Maybe one day homophobia will rival racism in terms of the number of people employed to campaign against it. More revenue for the Guardian jobs section I suppose, unless they combine it with the role of 'youth development worker' or 'community leader'.

I've often driven through Four Marks and wondered why there's a Travel lodge there? If memory serves me right, there's pretty much a Tesco and a Chinese and that's it.
