  1. Someone at the club is making a few quid leaking stuff to The Mirror recently! Hope Cotese doesn't catch you, there'll be a horses head in the bed waiting for you.
  2. How terribly English and quaint! Makes me nostalgic for my father. I can hear him now, 'this is quite appalling, I think I may even write a letter!'.
  3. Why do we always do this? In total control on 75 mins, mess around with the team and get hammered for that last 15?
  4. Everything goes down hill after the subs are made....as usual
  5. Really good point. Usual terrible response post subs, but got away with it this time. Dread the 75th min onwards these days - both the aerial and ground outlets removed resulting in needless pressure.
  6. People obviously have much more faith in Guly than me! I don't think he had any idea who was around him, he just aimlessly stuck a leg out for a ball that was too far away from him to be confident of where it was going to go post contact. Not sure you should be sticking your leg out like that in the penalty area when you have no control of where the ball is going to go.
  7. Not necessarily his fault, but it just had to be him. The bloke's human kryptonite and shouldn't be anywhere near the prem.
  8. Depressingly predictable second half performance, more bizarre subs that only heaped pressure on us when we should have been looking to do them on the break, and in the end lucky to hang on against 10 men. The years go by, managers and players come and go, but you can always count on saints to do something like that.
  9. Absolute meltdown on northstandchat! One individual even threatening not to renew his season ticket if this bloke comes to the 'scummers'! Perfectly in keeping with the most precious, deranged fans in the United Kingdom.
  10. Never heard of him before he signed, never gets a game after he's signed, and now he's rated the 85th best player in the world. Is this finally a case of an agent actually earning his dosh?
  11. Same as last year, Ben Dover on the laptop.
  12. They're probably waiting so they can announce the Lampard signing on the same day, soften the blow and all that.
  13. Sian Williams used to love flashing her stockings on many a morning. Much missed. I'm sure these presenters get locked into battles with each other over who can pull of the most inappropriate clothing. Proof that competition can only benefit the consumer.
  14. Having taken a fancy to the dark haired one, I looked to youtube for confirmation of her name - Susanna Ried. What a treasure chest of perversion that website offers! If you have some spare time, I thoroughly recommend a quick search. Some of the effort people go to film these birds is simply staggering, and some have over a million views ffs! The comments underneath are hilarious too.
  15. This happens a great deal at my place of work too. I often find that the person next to me directs his stream of urine at such an angle that, when combined with the correct pressure, results in a not unsubstantial 'dusting' of his urine covering my hands - and I dare say part of my apparatus. This is simply poor manners and can easily be avoided. Taken together with the inevitable pool of urine that always seems to be present on the floor beneath and this becomes a gruesome experience. Whilst on the subject, has anyone else noticed the extraordinarily high number of blokes that feel the need to spit into the urinal before commencing with urination? Baffling.
  16. But if the main reason for us not selling out regularly at home is because of current poor form, why didn't we even sell out the first home game back in the prem after seven years on the back of a great performance away at the champions?
  17. Can't remember the year, but when we beat Pompey 3-0 at home, Marian scored a great goal after a massive drought and it meant we were 4th over Christmas. Really thought we'd kick on after that season and become a solid mid-table prem side. Could never had guessed what was to follow. But for the best for me will always be Wimbledon away when we won 2 nil to basically stay up. Must of had 15k there, all over the ground. Had just started going away regularly with my dad. Ahh, better days.
  18. 'There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is generally adopted'.
  19. Turned into a typically scrappy relegation six pointer after the break. Yoshida is not a prem player in a million years. Liverpool would a truly awful side without the little **** up front. Not much else learnt really.
  20. That's that then
  21. Fair enough, each to his own. I just assumed that everyone knew about the relationship between the press and politicians? And as I said, none of the worst excesses of the press have anything to do with Leveson, they are a criminal matter for the CPS to decide upon. And much of Leveson was a circus, just wealthy celebratory after wealthy celebratory bemoaning intrusion, rightly so in some cases, and then getting a fortune in compensation thanks to the best lawyers money can buy. The Dowler case is a criminal matter, as is paying police officers for evidence. Of course the real reason it was a waste of time and money is that it said nothing about social media. The print press will be dead in 10yrs anyway. It's social media where people get away with incredible abuses of the libel laws etc.

  23. I would think that hardly a single vote placed at the next election will be influenced by this report, it's just not a big story for the average voter in the marginals. Indeed, most of the worst elements of the scandal were criminal in nature anyway and have nothing to do with Leveson - a point that Simon Jenkins attempted to make to the brain dead on Question Time last night. The Lib Dems can hardly kick up much of a fuss - they will be wiped out if they bring down the coalition and have to go to the polls. Basically the whole thing was a giant waste of tax payers money, a real shock there then.
  24. People expressing their adulation for a dancing dog mascot, said dancing dog mascot making the national news, and use of the word 'vibe' in this thread. These are truly disturbing developments indeed.
  25. So frustrating, whenever we get tested you worry about us. Shocking keeping.
