Do as you're told and keep your mouth shut. Kids today, jesus.

http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?280642-Nigel-Adkins/page3 Can't believe they actually made a banner about all that 'keep up' nonsense! Such a noddy club.

Haha, 'Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive'.

On the issue of food-based racial stereotyping, I recall a trip to visit the grave of a relative and finding a delightful message sprayed across the WW1 memorial in northern France suggesting that 'roast bifs go home'. I have no knowledge regarding my relatives Sunday lunch of choice, but I feel confident that he was indeed attempting 'to go home' at the time. Anyway, I'm sure the irony would have been lost on the perpetrators. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but us Brits do seem to have adopted a general trait of tolerating those who are themselves intolerant.

Wow. Truly terrifying. Not just an example of Islamic fascism on display today it would appear.

So who would we want in if MP does go ?

Breaking news sky sports - Pochettino will leave if NC quits
sfc1976 replied to Made in Southampton's topic in The Saints
Pochettino has only been here a few months, all that nonsense about Champions League, players signing contracts presumably on the basis of the clubs direction and ambition, and then a few weeks later all this happens?? Are we to assume that on no occasion did Cortese actually consult the family to see if they actually shared his vision?! I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but surely it would have been sensible to check first! I mean if it was the difference of a few million here or there for players then that would be understandable, but it would appear there is a fundamental disagreement on where we go next. Hope us lot don't end up the victims in this power struggle. Some kind of statement from the 'trust'/family would be great, but no doubt that's a long shot. Hey ho, so used to all this nonsense now that boring mid-table mediocrity combined with a largely invisible chairman would probably be even more strange. -
Do the family really share anything like the passion for saints that Markus did? Do they attend many games? Not very nice I know, but as the years pass since his death perhaps they just want rid and can cash in an asset that has proven profitable, but that now requires a great deal more of risk to take it to the next level?

Which 3 of these 5 clubs do you want in the Premier League next year?

Like your thinking, didn't realise that about Watford. If not them, Brighton would be amusing just to see if they revive their weird obsession with us like the league 1 days. Sunderland to go down, truly dreadful place. The bottom half of the Prem looks like it will be even worse in terms of quality than this season whatever happens so really hope it isn't going to be an issue for us. -
Could of been a similar case as this Forren bloke, just needed a little longer to 'settle in' and 'adapt'.

Lots of good memories watching Kev down the dell, and was there at Wembley too. Sounds like a truly dreadful disease. RIP.

SAINTS 0-3 West Bromwich Albion // Post-Match Reaction
sfc1976 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Hopefully someone will take a chance on Gaston and we can get £5m or so back. As for Foxy, god knows. May have to go straight to the Costa Del Sol and open up a bar or something 'cause professional football sure aint that *****s game. -
Cant wait for Jos and Foxy at Spuds next week! Going to be seriously painful. On the positive side it should at least make the powers that be aware of the problem (assuming they are currently blind) and it will be resolved in the summer.

We need a few tweaks before the champs league!!

The feed that I was watching the game on did zoom in on his jeans a few times. They were a little short in truth, plenty of sock on show, and his shoes could have done with a clean too. Matalan wouldn't have immediately sprung to mind in seeking to rectify these issues, but it's a start I suppose.

Got pictures at my work, Fox getting torn a new one.

Not sure. A little sceptical of the merits of consensus over conflict. A great deal of progress has emerged from conflict after all. As for the blue line comment, I'm assuming that's an attempt to question my footballing loyalties? An opinion that runs against the prevailing wind doesn't immediately make one a Portsmouth fan, although I appreciate it can be a temptingly easy comfort blanket to draw upon!

Time to move on and not really bothered where he goes. Obviously grateful for the promotions, but found the bloke a little irritating to be honest. A question of taste, but the relentless positivity was vomit inducing and the post match interviews were retarded even for football standards. Much better at the moment when I don't have a clue what he's saying, because it's going to be complete ****** anyway.

Judging by the state of the girls at St Marys I doubt MP will have a semi-on at that thought. Present company excluded I'm sure..

March/April time, Wigan turn into world beaters. Somewhat annoying given our predicament.
-
Mayuka must just need a little more time to 'adapt' to English football that's all!
-
Never been one to get excited about stadiums. Don't want a day out at a 'venue'. Just want to stand, sing and then leave. Couldn't give a fook about 'facilities' and all that w@nk. As long as it's not too far from the centre of town and holds enough people for the fan base then that's fine by me.
-
Think it will go the last day, with us staying up on goal difference. Leaving Reading, Wigan and Villa to go down. The 'Harry Houdini' w@nk fest will be truly vomit inducing.
-
Total dog ****e and will end up on a long-term loan or on a free. Probably up there with that f'cking clown the 'tin man' Delgado.
