An Arsenal fan at work has just asked me if this is the first time Southampton have been in the Prem.
-
If he's motivated by trying to get a move to Spurs/Arsenal/Chelsea and scores a few for us on the way then so be it I guess.
-
Have you ever taken a bird or your Missus or both to watch Saints?

I can't recall ever seeing an attractive woman at St Marys, and my standards are relatively low. Of course I don't doubt that your good ladies are all absolute belters, so maybe it's a location thing. Where do they all hang out? -
Pompey are now so utterly ridiculous on every level that my primary emotion is almost pity. Almost.

Santos, for £48m Sorry, not being rude, but no idea what this has to do with saints signing an SPL player and a French league player. The point I was trying to make, perhaps poorly, is that it's hard to see any considerable league improvement purely on the basis of these signings and a degree of improvement from last seasons players. Hence, 13th or 14th. Anyway, that's my three 3 strikes, have a nice evening.

Not sure I follow. Messi was part of the Barca youth set up from age 13 wasn't he? Lovren is 23, and Wanyama is 22.
-
As of today we have signed an SPL player, and a bloke from the French league and who most Lyon fans think is pony. 13th/14th I would say.

What actually drives people to do this kind of thing on the internet? I do find it quite odd. Unhappy childhood I guess, so often the cause of social problems later on in life.
-
I think we should wait and make sure he hasn't been bought for the 2014/15 season before we waste too much creative energy.
-
You watch guys, I bet Molde will give him next season off to 'adapt' back. This is a tactic that is bound to catch on, especially when the transfer involves such significant a journey as a 2hr flight!
-
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he was good enough to play for Man Utd!!
-
Looks a done deal then. After all, most things coming out of Nairobi can be taken on face value, as most email spam folders will confirm!
-
I doubt anyone 'hates' Fox himself. It's not his fault, he probably can't believe he's playing at this level either. But surely anyone watching a game objectively can see that his positioning is so poor that whoever is playing centre back is also then drawn out of position to cover him, which means we are seriously exposed. This happens time and time again. You can see that opposition managers, if they are not already aware of his shortcomings at the start of a game, actually change tactics to exploit the situation. Agree getting quality to sit on the bench is tough, so hope MP has seen him enough to iron out these issues as much as possible and he might just scrape through the odd game.
-
I like that. We should sing it even if we don't sign him.
-
Ridiculous. That's me out.
-
A tough one, but on balance I'd have to say Horton Heath.
-
More capacity at St Marys or new ground?

Actually find this skate mildly amusing. -
That gold reeks of 'new money', almost emirates like in its chavness!
-
Hard to tell from 4 mins whether he is sufficiently hungry for our project. I will reserve judgement.
-
Trying to draw out a few more bids probably. If a London side doesn't emerge if might be a runner.
-
Well he certainly has the 'young' element, but looking at the picture it's hard to determine whether the essential 'hunger' element is also present. If the link is true, I guess we'll have to take it on faith that he is indeed suitably malnourished to fit in with the project.
