Love it!

Never really given Brighton that much thought before, but having witnessed their seemingly relentless obsession with us on their forum, this 3 points does feel especially nice!
-
Just the four threads about us this morning I see. That's actually not that many for them, its usually 5+ by lunch. There are some decent people on there who admit this obsession with us makes them look small, but my god it is truly relentless!
-
Hopefully they'll be back for the playoffs....
-
Rather have a day out on the beer, or them go under and put us only 4(?) points behind Brighton?? Just asking, not saying I want them to fold!!
-
Sorry, is not 40!!
-
Are you suggesting that we weren't 6/4 at the start of the season? Or that 6/4 expressed as a percentage is 40? The former you maybe right, but the latter you're not.
-
I seem to recall us being 6/4(40% chance) favs to win the league at the start of the season, we are currently best price 9/2 (18.18%), so looking at it crudely you'd have to say we haven't achieved what we were 'expected' to achieve. Obviously a lot has to do with how well Brighton have done, and our lost ground post Pardew and pre Adkins. But still, had hoped it wouldn't come down to playoffs, and perhaps naively thought this could be a season we could just enjoy being successful/dominant for once!

Get in you scummers!!! Couldn't care less about about that lad doing the kung-fu kick, if anything just made me laugh even more. Off out to get wasted, thanks Saints....
-
If it does 'go off' tomorrow it will be more down to the local press than any original animosity between the fans!
-
Dear oh dear, is this really happening??! I've never given Bournemouth a second thought in my life. This is getting ridiculous.
-
After Pompey, they're the only team I really loathe. And that was before (some of) their fans did that lovely poppy boycott last year.

I sometimes wish I could be more laid back about results than I am. Pretty sad, but it genuinely affects my mood for the next 48hrs at least usually. I suppose the only thing that keeps me coming back is that the pleasure of the win continues to out weigh the misery of the defeat. There have been so many times when I've said to myself 'what the hell am I doing'?! Most recently when in a hotel room in Hartlepool after that awful 0-0 on a Tuesday night having parted with about £200! But sure enough I was back at Colchester yesterday. Think I need to a good woman.

'The famine is over, why dont you go home' sung by Rangers to Celtic fans. Horrendously offensive obviously, but all the best ones tend to be.
-
We'll probably start really slowly, end up hoofing it about, a few cock-ups from Kelvin, lose 2-0.
-
Adkins will probably blame the pitch again, the silly mong
-
Going on a run over the next six games - say winning four and drawing two. Brighton have never really been put under pressure so far, it would be good to at least know how they would respond to it rather than be left wondering and thinking 'if only'.

The franchise down to 10, tossers

The difference between Southampton and bournemouth.....
sfc1976 replied to BHA's topic in The Saints
Not so sure. It was quite a shock to see how much they dislike us for some reason. The general consensus on their forum is that us losing in the play off final would be the best result. Rather sad, but there you go. -
I must confess that I had been drinking all day, but all I can remember was 'Alan Carr, Alan Carr, Alan Carr'

Must have missed the homophobic abuse. I'm reasonably confident there would have been a similar chant if the steward bore an uncanny resemblance to well known 'straight' person.

Hartlepool 0 - 0 Saints - Post Match Reaction Thread

Nailed it. Back in the Best Western Hartlepool myself and just dont know where we're going, an awful performance. Comments like 'Really believe we will win it now- Just hope its sewn up against Southampton to rub their noses in it - Lock them in whilst we celebrate' on the Brighton forum make me sick considering the team we have. -
Supposed to pee it down in the north east as well, if they churn it up today and tuesday gets called off I will be seething.

Let's just hope we don't have to go through the playoffs...

I'd have to be on suicide watch if we lost in the final. That would take some serious 'getting over'. Dreading it.
