Something like this. I remember Martin Samuel warning us in the summer 2014/not to try the same stunt the following summer....
-
Will be interesting to see our next performance without him

How long before you/we start to get really worried

Its 2005 all over again, right down to the banal / clueless comments to the press from Claus...erm...Jose. If we are going to change manager for a scrapper, time is rapidly running out. God knows what next season will look like. I guess our better players will pick up the lack of ambition in the board and leave, returning us to perennial fights for 17th. -
We are in deep, deep sh*t....

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 4-0 Arsenal

WTF....thats all I have to say. -
Looks like weve given up on this season. Awful line up for second game in a row....

Once more : SFC have known for 18months that Morgan was going. Their efforts to replace him or reorganise to cover his loss have been abysmal. And I wonder now if we have been unfair on Pochettino when he claimed some credit for our form early last season.
-
Yes, bizarre reasoning from SOGGY there...
-
More deja vu. People are still saying the same sh*t about Gashton 3 years later. And I even hear Mane being dragged into this. I thought he started scoring goals more or less as soon as he started games. Totally codswallop to compare. Totally underwhelmed about Claisse.
-
Feels like deja vu to the Lowe era. We've sold our better players and failed to replace with similar potential (established quality would have been too expensive).
-
Fed up of hearing how we havent replaced Schneiderlin. We knew he was off for up to 18months. We had time with our vaunted "black box" to find either : i) a replacement ii) someone to buy and modify the team formation/tactics accordingly. We've dropped the ball on so many levels; Claisse has been an utter disappointment. To answer the original question : Yes, but its not only Koeman who has lost it.
-
Forster was hardly a sudden development / short-term issue. And we ran a risk with just him before that.
-
Our persistent failure to ensure we have GK cover is appaling..
-
Thats a f**king awful team. So much for having more squad depth. We will lose by 2 goals or more
-
Sorry, not interested in the revisionist claptrap.
-
Take the p*ss all you want, but that guy had a vision and an idea about how to achieve it.

The 5 prison officers involved were suspended on full pay for the enquiry, were cleared and are now back at work. That should have been the end of it. Its a pity that "window" didnt take his head completely off or shove its genitals up his arse as he bent over in agony...

Ah, we still do the "mob" posts, where someone tries to make someone else look stupid through previous comments ? How sad.. Well, putting the last two stupid posts aside, and for those who want a sensible discussion, I actually think the back-room team is not as creative and energetic as in the past couple of seasons. From here, it feels like the "buzz" has gone.

To clarify, I am saying we are standing still and the innovation seems to have gone. I am not saying throwing money at everything is the solution (hence my LVG comment). We seem to be happy to sit back and cash in after a decent run of results and individual performances. Youngsters are not coming through, and none of this summers acquisitions are in the same league as Mane in terms of finds. Replacing Toby with VVD seems to have been the high point.
-
The board need to wake up. They flogged a lot of best players over the past 2 years and brought in cheap replacements that do not enhance the quality of the first team, and arguably have not really increased squad depth. Whilst banking the remaining cash. Standing still in this business is a killer, and that is what we've done. LVG spent 260million since he took over and look how f**king crap Manyoo are still. Where's the original thinking and attention to detail gone ? We seem to be resting on our laurels. No youngsters are coming through either. Where's Cortese ?
-
Our three senior teams U18, U21 and PL are suddenly utter dogsh*te. WHY ?
-
Something is very, very wrong at SFC. We have totally lost our mojo.
-
- We bought crap over the summer except VVD - We still have a wafer-thin squad - Consequently we are going backwards again
-
Another crap performance, another day of self doubt for Saints fans, another resurrection of the Gashton CDAJFU thread..

Not expecting a positive result tonight. Liverpool are flying high, whereas we suddenly appear to be in the doldrums again.
