Somehow, some people never seem to see this coming, over and over and over again. Sturridge, Defoe, Walcott, Bertrand… this summer it’s Bale and Phil Jones who you’d be mad not to want to sign, apparently.
-
Yeah, how dare he get the best out of our one actually decent Premier League player. It’s not like any other managers in this league have good players to rely on.
-
Overall, 8. He was brought in to try and fight off relegation whilst we slowly processed the absolute sh*t storm of player recruitment lead by Les and Ross. Not only has he achieved that, we’ve been comfortably above any kind of relegation fight. All this with some thoroughly substandard players having to be used regularly. Even our so called best players, like Ings, Vest and Bertrand, when sold to our mid table rivals, looked mediocre to hopeless under decent managers like Gerrard and Rogers.

Japanese Juanmi, he'll do well there IMO.

I will hear many things against Jan Bednarek but I doubt he has ever charged money for that. -

He doesn't even need to be that good, just slightly better than Bednarek. If we've just spent that much money on someone NOT slightly better than Bednarek, I'm off to watch women's lawn bowls. -

We should post the same thing when Bednarek signs for PSG. -

From the reviews at least, this beats signing players that Plymouth, Lech Poznań and Torino fans are, at best, indifferent to. -
Here's a good game. Click on a random point on that video and post the first sentence Tiss says. The winner is the one who randomly lands on the most crackpot piece of nonsense. I clicked on 28:35 and got: "If you want to hear from me, you'll here a lot more on GETTR than you will on Twitter." It's mild by his standards, I'm sure that'll be easily beaten.

Seems like a straight forward compromise to me. Let the grain out of Ukraine and we’ll allow stuff to transit Lithuania.

There’s quite clearly a click bait angle on many of these headlines and it is irritating. If you’re writing headlines including the players name, Real Madrid, Chelsea, winning the Champions League 5 times, a three year contract and John Terry’s 26 shirt but don’t bother to mention that it’s Chelsea women, that deliberate. If you like woman's football then great, enjoy it for what it is but stop trying to wind people up by pretending Player A is now only 2 goals behind Eusebio’s international record, etc.

Decent game that, just stalled in the middle of our batting order but Surrey have so many good players. Just for a couple of overs after Overton was stumped I dared to dream but that six off the final ball of the nineteenth killed it.

Because it’s a trait he inherited from his father, who got his mother pregnant whilst other males were busy shagging each other. Nature.

If, in the days which predate civilisation, Man A is homophobic and Man B isn’t, then A is only going to attempt to mate with females, whilst B is trying it one with everyone. Assuming all other things being equal, A is going to mate with and impregnate twice as many females as B. Therefore the trait of homophobia is passed on to twice as many offspring, which over more and more generations becomes the predominant behaviour.
-
Because you are 50% less likely to reproduce. Homosexuality and homophobia are not mutually exclusive within a species, there’s no reason at all that both can’t exist in tandem.
-
There’s plenty of it in religious text, however it’s also a naturally occurring evolutionary mechanism and would occur with or without their teachings.
-
The point he is correctly making is that having ‘experience’ is meaningless if they aren’t very good. I don’t think he is referring to how experienced they were when they signed. They’re all experienced now and are noticeably substandard.

People who snobs about what kind of alcohol others drink. If I want a pre-match eggnog then I shall have a pre-match eggnog.

Cracking night out that, nice weather to boot. Brilliant century from Vince and Whiteley at the death knocking 23 off 6 balls.
-
When you make a joke, someone chips in with their own ‘joke’ which is basically explaining what you’ve just said and thinks they’re the one being funny.

Genuinely happy with this one. All the noises from anyone who’s seen him play are raving about him. Couldn’t give a hoot if he’s never played at this level before, we’ve got more than enough experience in this squad.

Don't stop me now I'm Gavin such a good time, I'm Gavin a ball Don't stop me now If you wanna Gav a good time, just give me a call

Seems reasonable enough to me. It's just Man City future-proofing themselves in case he comes a worldwide megastar. If we were in their shoes I'd be trying to insert similar clauses as there is essentially no need to sell and he'll have plenty of suitors.
